Who Is Sydney Paight on ‘Love Island Games’? All About the Bombshell’s ‘Love Island’ History
Love Island Games Season 2 has been full of moments that made our jaws drop, but none so much as the arrival of Love Island USA alum Sydney Paight.
A fan-favorite Islander coming in as a bombshell isn’t out of the norm on Love Island Games, but it’s the first time this season that two exes are in the villa at the same time. That’s right: Sydney reunited with her Love Island USA ex, Isaiah Campbell, whom she dated on the outside for about a year.
Some fans have already started hoping that Sydney and Isaiah will reconcile, but Sydney herself said she wasn’t sure if it’s in the cards. We’ll have to wait and see, but in the meantime, a refresher on Sydney and her Love Island history is definitely in order.
Who is Sydney coupled up with on Love Island Games?
There hasn’t been a recoupling since Sydney entered the villa. After making a buzzy entrance during Episode 7’s heart rate challenge, the bombshell pulled Toby Aromolaran for a chat, revealing that they shared a kiss at the Love Island Games premiere in Los Angeles.
Only time will tell who Sydney couples up with, but we do know that she’ll likely make a strategic choice. She has her eye firmly on the $250,000 prize. She already knows what she’d buy with the money: a pink Bentley.
Still, when Toby asked if she thinks she’ll make a connection, Sydney answered in the affirmative. “I mean, I’m pretty open. I feel like I totally just have no ties anywhere. Finally. No baggage.”
“There’s maybe a little bit of baggage in the hideaway,” she admitted, referring to Isaiah. “That’s like closed baggage.”
What season of Love Island USA was Sydney on?
Sydney was an OG contestant on Season 4 of Love Island USA, which aired in 2022. She initially coupled with Isaiah, but they didn’t stick together for the entirety of their time on the show. They did leave in a relationship, however, but we’re getting ahead of ourselves. Check out the brief overview of their Love Island USA (and post-show) journey below.
After her Love Island USA run, Sydney traveled to another country to find love. She appeared on Love Island Australia Season 6 from the beginning, but her time was cut short. Her fellow Islanders dumped her on Day 6 before she could make a strong connection.
What happened between Sydney and Isaiah on Love Island USA?
After she and Isaiah got together on Day 1, Sydney wasn’t totally convinced he was into her. She kissed fellow Islander Andy Voyen and didn’t immediately tell Isaiah, which the latter wasn’t happy about. Andy later chose Sydney to couple up with, but she realized the strength of Isaiah’s feelings afterward. They got together once again.

Casa Amor, however, is going to Casa Amor. When Isaiah met new Islander Phoebe Siegel, he brought her back to the original villa. Sydney, on the other hand, wasn’t tempted to get with anyone, so she was alone after the show’s signature twist. Regretting his decision, Isaiah won Sydney back. They exchanged “I love yous” and made their relationship official. They ended up second place.
Why did Sydney and Isaiah break up?
Once they took their relationship into the outside world, Isaiah and Sydney stayed together for about a year. With Sydney in Los Angeles and Isaiah in Florida, they tried to make it work long distance — until December 2023, when Sydney shared that she was single on Instagram.
