No, Guarnaschelli does not appear to currently be dating anyone. Her relationship status was revealed in September when she shared a post on Instagram trying to set up her Food Network colleague Eric Adjepong with a new girlfriend.
“How can this man be single? Should I help my friend @chefericadjepong find a girlfriend ????” she captioned her post. This prompted thousands of comments to flood in, including one from Michael Symon, who pitched a dating show starring both chefs and said, “How are either of you single?Alex vs Adjepong .. can be like a cooking for love series!.. cmon @foodnetwork .. that would be juicy!”
What happened between Alex Guarnaschelli and Michael Castellon?
Guarnaschelli got engaged to Michael Castellon in June 2020, but they are no longer together. Castellon confirmed that the engagement was called off in February 2022, telling Closer, “Wishing her nothing but the best.”
At the time of their split, Guarnaschelli and Castellon had been together for six years. They met in 2016 while she was dining at the restaurant where he worked. Guarnaschelli’s friend was a waiter at the establishment, and told her to meet Chef Castellon after she raved about the steak he prepared her.
“I went in to meet him and tell him the steak was delicious and that was it,” Guarnaschelli recalled to People.
Who was Alex Guarnaschelli married to?
Guarnaschelli was previously married to Brandon Clark, whom she met in 2006. Clark, who was working as a lawyer, took one of Guarnaschelli’s cooking classes at the Institute of Culinary Education. He eventually got a part-time job at her restaurant, Butter, in New York City, and they began a romantic relationship.
Clark and Guarnaschelli tied the knot in 2007, but ended their relationship in 2015.
Does Alex Guarnaschelli have kids?
Yes, Guarnaschelli shares a daughter, Ava, with Clark. Guarnaschelli gave birth to her baby girl in July 2007.
The Food Network star told E! that her daughter is a good cook “fundamentally,” so it looks like it’s possible that she could follow in her mother’s footsteps! The mother/daughter duo released a cookbook called Cook It Up in 2023.
