Kevin Costner’s Ex Christine Baumgartner Marries Their Former Neighbor Josh Connor
Christine Baumgartner, who finalized her divorce from Kevin Costner in February 2024, is a married woman once again. The handbag designer tied the knot with Josh Connor, a longtime friend and former neighbor, on October 18, nine months after he popped the question in Santa Barbara, California.
The nuptials took place at Santa Ynez Ranch in Santa Barbara, with just over 100 people in attendance, according to People. The ceremony and reception were preceded by a welcome party on October 17.
Baumgartner filed for divorce from Costner in May 2023 after 19 years of marriage (they wed in 2004 after four years together). The exes share three children, sons born in 2007 and 2009, and a daughter born in 2010. She was first spotted out with Connor in July 2023 when they took a trip to Hawaii together. However, the two kept their romance very low-key at first and were not confirmed to be dating until the end of 2024.
At the time, a source told People, “Christine and Josh’s relationship started as a friendship, so they have a really strong foundation. They share the same values, and she feels so happy and supported in this new relationship.”
For her latest wedding date, Baumgartner wore a strapless Mira Zwillinger gown, then changed into a strapless satin Lihi Hod dress for the reception. A guest told People that the wedding was “magical,” adding, ““The setting was gorgeous, but what made it special was the intimacy of it all. This wasn’t a big production. It was authentic, heartfelt, and so very them. Everyone there felt like they were witnessing something really precious.”
Another attendee said, “Christine and Josh were glowing. And there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd during the ceremony.”
Baumgartner’s wedding comes just two months after the outlet reported that Costner has also moved on romantically and is “casually dating” director Kelly Noonan Gores. “It’s very casual,” a source shared. “She thinks he’s wonderful and interesting.”
