Are Rob Kardashian & Blac Chyna Back Together? Inside Their Relationship Now
More than eight years after Blac Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, and Rob Kardashian ended their engagement, the exes have sparked speculation that they may be back together. The buzz began with Chyna’s October 14 Instagram post, which she captioned, “This love is forever ♾️ @robkardashianofficial.”
Following their 2017 breakup, Chyna sued Kardashian’s family members Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kris Jenner, and Khloé Kardashian for defamation, claiming they played a part in the cancellation of the show Rob & Chyna, which she alleged cost her millions of dollars.
So, are Chyna and Kardashian back together, despite their tumultuous history? It certainly wouldn’t be the first time they dated amid controversy — when they dated in 2016 and 2017, Kardashian’s sister Kylie was in the midst of an on-again, off-again relationship with Chyna’s ex (and father of her first child), Tyga. Scroll down for everything we know about this apparent reconciliation.

“Me and Robert, we’re healing and we’re communicating, and we’re just going with the flow,” she shared. “And if God be, then it will be something.” She also said, “Robert’s so funny. He’s just hilarious. We’re on the path, we’re on the journey. You hear that, Rob? We’re just taking our time. I’m excited. He’s my person. I just gotta work on myself, he’s gotta work on himself.”
How much money did Blac Chyna sue the Kardashians for?
Chyna sought $100 million in damages in her lawsuit with the Kardashian women. In May 2022, a judge ruled in favor of the Kardashian/Jenner women, and no monetary damages were awarded to Chyna.
Chyna’s lawsuit stemmed from a series of posts that Kardashian shared on Instagram in 2017, including three naked photos of Chyna, after their breakup. In addition to accusing Kardashian of abuse (which he denied), she claimed that his social media posts, as well as the Kardashian/Jenner influence at E!, ultimately led to the cancellation of Rob & Chyna after just one season.
Kardashian and Chyna reached a settlement in the revenge porn case in June 2022 and have kept their coparenting relationship out of the public eye since then. The specifics of their settlement were not made public.
Meanwhile, Kardashian also filed an assault and battery lawsuit against his ex in 2017, but he dismissed it in February 2022.
Who has custody of Dream Kardashian?
During their relationship, Chyna and Kardashian welcomed a daughter, Dream, in November 2016. In January 2024, Chyna confirmed that she has 50/50 custody of both of her children.
During a 2023 episode of The Kardashians, Khloé sparked controversy when she admitted that she considers herself a “third parent” to Dream. Fans have expressed confusion about how much time Dream spends with her own mother, as she is often featured in Khloé’s Instagram posts with the Good American founder’s own two children.
“Rob is doing the best he can as a parent and in life. Angela is doing the best she can as a parent and in life,” Khloé wrote on Instagram in 2023, using Chyna’s legal first name. “I am doing the best I can as a parent and in life. We are ALL trying to do our best in life. Our children are healthy and happy! Most of all they are LOVED!! LOVED by everyone in our tribe.”
Chyna also responded to the situation, telling TMZ, “Everything is good on both ends, we are all family at the end of the day. Robert and myself are coparenting the best we can, and it’s all love and positivity. As mentioned, it takes a village to raise a child, and I’m happy that Dream has a huge village full of love from both sides. As a mother, that’s all I ask for.”
Does Blac Chyna get child support?
No, Chyna does not receive child support from either Kardashian or Tyga. Although Kardashian initially paid her $20,000 a month in child support, the two reached an agreement in 2020 that stated they would each pay for Dream’s needs when she was in their care.
In 2022, Chyna revealed on social media that she was not collecting child support from either of her exes, which caused Kardashian to clap back, “I pay 37k a year for my daughter’s school. I handle every single medical expense. I pay for all her extracurricular activities. I have my daughter from Tuesday-Saturday. Why would i pay child support lol.”
