[Warning: The following contains MAJOR spoilers for Nobody Wants This Season 2.]

If Nobody Wants This Season 2 made one thing clear, it’s that nobody does a When Harry Met Sally running to the one you love homage like Adam Brody and Kristen Bell.

During the highly anticipated second season of Netflix’s “Hot Rabbi” romance series, Noah (Brody) and Joanne (Bell) continued to explore their opposites-attract relationship, as Noah introduced Joanne to Purim and Shabbat dinners, while Joanne introduced Noah to street justice and the sweet taste of revenge against your childhood rival — who just happened to be played by Brody’s real-life wife, Leighton Meester. At the same time, Joanne’s sister, Morgan (Justine Lupe), got into her own (questionable) relationship, while tensions rose between Noah’s brother, Sasha (Timothy Simons), and his wife, Esther (Jackie Tohn).

Whether you’re dying for answers or need a quick refresher down the line, we’ve rounded up everything you need to know about the status of every major Nobody Wants This Season 2 relationship below.

Are Noah and Joanne still together?

Towards the end of Season 2, the tension heightened between Noah and Joanne when she wanted to move in with him (after getting evicted), but he couldn’t take that leap until they answered “the question of conversion.” He told her, “I am scared that if we move in together now, then that will be it. And we will never deal with the question of conversion because we won’t have to. And I will be unhappy. And maybe even resentful.”

Naturally, Joanne felt that even though she was “inching towards conversion,” she couldn’t guarantee that she could get there. She told him, “If you can’t move in with me as I am now, I don’t see how we do move forward… Don’t you think we deserve to be in relationships where we can both be exactly who we are while still moving forward?” Even though tabled the conversation, they split before the end of Morgan’s engagement party during the Season 2 finale.

Even so, in true Noah and Joanne fashion, the duo realized that they made a horrible mistake and chased after each other to confess how they truly felt. After a heart-to-heart with Esther, Joanne discovered that she may be more Jewish than she had originally thought. Regardless, Noah told Joanne, “None of it matters. You are my soulmate. That’s it. I don’t care if you’re Jewish. I don’t care if you’re not Jewish. I choose you. Every time.” Will Joanne actually convert? That’s our major question heading into Season 3.

Why did Morgan and Dr. Andy split?

Season 2 saw the rise and fall of Morgan’s relationship with her therapist, Dr. Andy (Arian Moayed). While she fell hard and fast for the man who knew all her secrets, she ended up telling Joanne at her engagement party, “I feel like maybe I don’t like him anymore, but I’m on the fence. I’m not sure, you know?” Once Joanne opened the floodgate on all the reasons Dr. Andy was marriage material, Morgan revealed, “He weaponizes things I said to him in therapy when I thought that I was opening up in a safe space.” Sounds like a stellar reason why you should never date your therapist to us.

In a literal tunnel of love at their engagement party, Joanne told her fiancé, “Andy, I am breaking up with you once and for all.” While Dr. Andy tried to fire back with some deeply therapy-coded guilt tripping, Morgan told him, “Don’t do that, okay? I’m not scared. At least not in the way that you’re saying that. I’m scared that I’m not going to follow through on breaking up with you, and that we’re just going to end up together, and that’s not what I want.” Ultimately, Morgan admitted that she no longer wanted to live her life trying to catch up with Joanne.

Are Sasha and Esther still together?

In a major turn of events, the series’s token married couple, Sasha and Esther, split during the Season 2 finale. After a season of ups and downs, which led Sasha to theorize that they would wake up one day and realize that they hate each other, Sasha told Esther, “I am going to stay out of your way.” While Esther called Sasha “the greatest guy in the whole world and the best dad, just a fantastic, loveable weirdo,” she admitted that their marriage was no longer working for her. She told him, “I can’t fix it while we’re together.”

Later, he told Morgan, “I mean, if she thinks that she can just go out there, and see what life is on the other side without me, and I’ll just like wait and take her back… She’s absolutely right.” However, Esther wasn’t the only person who Sasha seemed to have eyes for.

What’s going on with Sasha and Morgan?

Were we the only ones hoping to see Sasha and Morgan finally get together after he split from Esther? Sure, Sasha is an absolute loverboy when it comes to his wife, even if she wants a separation. But for two seasons, we’ve been watching sparks fly between Sasha and Morgan (Simons and Lupe have such impeccable chemistry it should be studied), and for the first time, we thought the “loser siblings” duo would finally go there. Hopefully, 2026 will be our year, Sasha x Morgan shippers.
