Gen V Season 2 has come to a close, but has Marie (Jaz Sinclair) and Jordan’s (Derek Luh and London Thor) relationship really come to an end as well?

As viewers will recall, towards the end of the season, Marie set out on her own to go up against Thomas Godolkin (Ethan Slater), and didn’t consult her significant other, Jordan. While there was still a lot of love between the two, Jordan put their foot down and told Marie they had to be friends for now because being in a relationship is scary when they don’t communicate.

So, where does that leave them now? Speaking to TV Insider, Luh, who plays one side of the gender-shifting Supe, Jordan, joked, “You know what, I think we need to close the chapter on that…” With a laugh, they added bluntly, “No, the door is, of course, open. I don’t think going through what they’ve been through and loving someone like that, just like ends.”

Marie and Jordan declared their love for one another over the course of Season 2, making it clear the depth of their feelings, but will the romance be rekindled? “I think it’s Jordan trying to figure out how to set their own boundaries and choose themselves first,” Luh clarified. “And I think there needs to be a lot of healing in Jordan, in particular, and in Marie.”

While Season 3 of the series hasn’t been announced, Gen V’s Season 2 ending hinted at Jordan and Marie’s potential roles in the final season of The Boys as they teamed with the resistance against Homelander (Antony Starr), seemingly led by Starlight (Erin Moriarty) and A-Train (Jessie T. Usher), alongside their fellow Godolkin classmates. “Maybe they’ll revisit it down the line, but I would love for them to have that door open still,” Luh said about Jordan and Marie’s romance.

Thor, who plays the other side of Jordan, agreed with her costar. Sinclair was certainly on board as well. “I just love our scenes together so much. I’d be so bummed if we don’t get to keep doing that,” she said.

Here’s to hoping we’ll see more romance for Jordan and Marie in the future. Let us know what you’d like to see next for the on-again-off-again pair in the comments section, and stay tuned for any updates.
