‘The Golden Bachelor’: Who Should Mel Owens Pick? Vote for Cindy or Peg (POLL)
What To Know
- Mel Owens is down to two finalists, Peg Munson and Cindy Cullers, on The Golden Bachelor.
- Both women are retired, divorced, and have children, but differ in their career backgrounds.
- Owens has expressed strong connections with both, but who should he choose?
Mel Owens‘ journey on The Golden Bachelor is coming to an end. With the finale fast approaching, viewers are anxious to see who Owens chooses at his final rose ceremony.
After Mel eliminated Debbie Siebers following hometown dates, he has just two women left: Peg Munson and Cindy Cullers. He’s formed strong connections with both women over the first six weeks of the show.
Peg received her one-on-one date with Mel during Week 4, while Cindy got hers in Week 5. They also both took Mel to meet their families during Week 6’s hometown dates.
While there are some similarities between Cindy and Peg, they’re very different women. Both of them are retired after careers in biomedical engineering and as a firefighter/bomb technician, respectively. Cindy has three daughters from a previous relationship, while Peg is a mom to one daughter. Meanwhile, Mel has two sons from his first marriage.
Like Mel, Cindy and Peg are both divorced. Peg’s marriage ended in 2003 after her husband cheated on her, she told Owens on their one-on-one date. Cindy was previously married to Marc Cullers before their relationship ended at an unknown date.
From the moment Cindy stepped out of the limo, Mel was intrigued, joking that the show could’ve “called it a wrap” right then and there, he told Us Weekly. “I’m thinking, ‘Wow, she’s obviously beautiful,'” he recalled. He also noted that Cindy was “always outgoing and forward” throughout the journey, and described her as “passionate, compassionate, and brilliant.”
When it came to Peg, Mel praised her “high energy,” but admitted that it took him longer to “crack” her. “I had to figure out if she really liked me or not,” he shared, adding that he had to “bring out” her more affectionate side.
So, who should Mel choose? Vote for your choice in the poll below and let us know why in the comments section below!
