Did ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ Stars Chloe Fabiano & Johny Fernandes’ Break Up Amid Cheating Drama?

After “respectively” going through her pirate boyfriend’s phone, it looks like Chloe is finally ready to leave Aruba.

Chloe Fabiano and Johny Fernandes rocked the boat from Day 1 on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, but fans are agreeing with Chloe’s mom now more than ever that their relationship was “destined to fail.” 90 Day Fiancé fans met 23-year-old Chloe and her 32-year-old pirate boyfriend, Johny, on Season 7 of The Other Way. During the first episode, Chloe revealed, “I’m leaving a six-figure job [in Boston] to move to Aruba because I fell in love with a man on a pirate ship.”

Chloe quickly learned that traveling to Aruba and permanently moving there are two entirely different ball games. Are Chloe and Johny still together?

As of Episode 18 of The Other Way Season 7, Chloe appears to have broken things off with Johny. She told viewers that she was “in shambles” after deciding to go through Johny’s phone. She explained, “Me having the trust issues that I already do, respectively, went through it.” On his phone, she found “a message he sent to a girl saying that he missed her.” But it only got worse from there.

While this is a new low, from the start of the season, their relationship has been anything but smooth sailing. Even though Chloe met Johny at his job, his career as an entertainer was their biggest source of tension. “I really want to trust him, but it’s hard when he’s a booze cruise host,” she told viewers. At the same time, Johny asked her to stop tracking his location during Episode 7. Her solution? Spying on him on the boat from a nearby tree.

Chloe later explained to her mom that she and Johny would not survive another period of long-distance dating, to which her mom responded, “Well, I think a relationship that you’re going to commit to, you know, potentially forever, should be able to sustain long distance for a period of time. And if it’s not, then it’s not something that you should even be entertaining.” Knowing her daughter, Chloe’s mom stated, “Definitely sounds like a trust issue.” The second trust was brought into the picture, Chloe claimed that Johny had cheated early in their relationship.

Did Johny cheat on Chloe?

According to Chloe, Johny cheated on her with multiple women. She explained, “I did my investigating, and he had actually been messaging this girl while we were filming interviews, literally when I’m this much distance away from him, asking her to send him nudes, asking, you know, that he missed her, that he missed having sex with her.” She continued, “When I caught him, I took photos of the phone and sent them to him, and left his house, and was like, I am done with you, I’m absolutely disgusted. Then the only thing he said was ‘You went [through] my phone behind my back.'”

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Shortly into their relationship, Johny cheated on her during a trip to Miami. “Well, I mean, Jonathan, I mean, we didn’t get off to the greatest start,” Chloe admitted to her mom. “And then all of a sudden he’s like, I’m going to Miami for a boys’ trip… I think maybe in that moment I thought we were more serious than we were because then I found out on social media that he was with a girl for her birthday in Florida.”

Naturally, Chloe’s mom wasn’t thrilled that Johny had spent time with another woman while he was dating her daughter. She told producers, “As a mother, I can’t even put into words how disappointed and concerned I am because for you to build a relationship based on infidelity, like a lack of trust, is outrageous to me. And it’s destined to fail.” That’s not something you want to hear!

Who is Chloe Fabiano?

During Episode 1 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Chloe introduced herself as a former pageant queen from Boxford, Massachusetts (about 30 minutes outside of Boston). Going through her trophies and medals, she shared that she is incredibly competitive, referring to her younger self as a “total spoiled princess.” When she decided to move to Aruba, Chloe left her (six-figure) job as a sales representative at her mom’s shipping and logistics business.

Who is Johny Fernandes?

Episode 1 also revealed that Chloe’s boyfriend, Johny, is an entertainer on “a pirate ship party boat.” However, once fans met Johny, it became clear that his job only scratched the surface of who he is. In a later episode, he admitted that the last woman he had lived with was his mom, who recently died. According to the pirate, his previous relationship ended when he caught his ex with somebody else. However, he “really realized what heartbreak was” when he lost his mom.

Was Johny Fernandes on 90 Day: The Single Life?

Turns out, this isn’t Johny’s first appearance in the 90 Day franchise. Eagle-eyed fans recalled that Johny appeared on Season 3 of 90 Day: The Single Life, when Taina Maduro traveled to Aruba to find love. A fan on Reddit wrote: “Watching single life because I’m bored and have no life… and I’m watching an episode where Tania is on vacation in Aruba. She goes to a party at this incredible house that supposedly belongs to [Johny] from the new season of the Other Way! My jaw dropped when he appeared on the screen.”

How did Chloe and Johny meet?

Chloe and Johny met while she was on a “girls’ trip” in Aruba. She shared, “I saw him on the boat, shirtless. I just thought he was gorgeous, and that was it.” After their time on the boat, Chloe and her friends met Johny at a bar, where he proved to be both funny and sweet. At the bar, Johny told Chloe she would have to come back to visit him in Aruba, setting off multiple visits and 11 months of long distance.
