How Many Kids Does Kelsey Grammer Have? His New Baby With Kayte Walsh & More
Kelsey Grammer, who is 70 years old, has expanded his family once again. The Frasier actor announced on Monday, October 27, that he welcomed a new baby named Christopher with his wife, Kayte Walsh.
He shared the news during an appearance on the Pod Meets World podcast. “It was, like, three days ago,” he said. “Christopher that’s just joined the family.” News of Walsh’s latest pregnancy broke in June when the couple was photographed out and about, and she had her baby bump on display.

How many kids does Kelsey Grammer have?
Grammer is now a father to eight children. With Walsh, whom he married in February 2011, he has four kids. Their daughter Faith was born in July 2012, followed by son Kelsey in July 2014, son Auden “James” in November 2016, and Christopher in October 2025. Walsh also miscarried a baby in 2010 before the pair got engaged.

Grammer’s eldest child is daughter Spencer Grammer, born in October 1983, whom he shares with his first wife, Doreen Alderman. He welcomed another daughter, Greer Grammer, in February 1992 with Barrie Buckner. Grammer and Buckner never married.
With ex-wife Camille Grammer, he has a daughter, Mason, born in October 2001, and a son, Jude, born in August 2004.

Grammer’s oldest child, Spencer, and youngest child, Christopher, are more than 40 years apart. Spencer also has a son, Emmett, who is older than all of Grammer’s children with Walsh (Emmett was born in 2011).
How old is Kayte Walsh?
People reported that Walsh was 46 years old at the time she gave birth to her and Grammer’s fourth child. However, when the two tied the knot in 2011, it was reported that she was 29, which would make her only 43 in 2025, so there seems to be a bit of a discrepancy in her age.
Regardless, Walsh and Grammer have more than two decades between them.
Why did Kelsey and Camille Grammer split?
Camille filed for divorce in July 2010 after finding out that her husband was having an affair with Walsh. The actor and Walsh met while she was working as a flight attendant on one of his trips to London in December 2009.
“We went out for coffee several days later and had this magical night in the snow in London around Christmastime. It was two years ago,” Grammer said in 2012. Walsh later admitted on Oprah’s Next Chapter that she wasn’t “proud” of how the relationship began. “I have so many emotions. But you know, I fell in love. I don’t know how to word it, I don’t know how to put it into words,” she admitted.
On an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Camille revealed she found out about the affair when a doorman in her family’s New York City apartment building didn’t recognize her as Grammer’s wife because he was used to seeing the actor arrive at the premises with Walsh.
After their divorce, the exes eventually agreed to joint custody after a contentious battle. However, the children were living with Camille and maintaining “meaningful contact” with their father. Camille and the Frasier star have not been on speaking terms for years. When her home burned down in the 2018 Woolsey fires, Grammer did not reach out (at the time, Mason was living with her, and Jude was living with him).
