Yes, Hansen and Pederson are still together. Their relationship has been documented on Season 21 of Deadliest Catch, where Pederson is now a captain on the F/V Northwestern alongside his wife and her father.
How did Mandy Hansen and Clark Pederson meet?
Hansen and Pederson met while they were both student at the California Maritime Academy. At the time, he was an aspiring maritime pilot, while she was getting the proper degrees and licenses to start working alongside her dad.
After meeting Hansen, Pederson joined her family’s crew as a novice deckhand in 2016. He and Hansen tied the knot in June 2017, with their wedding documented on Season 13 of Deadliest Catch.
Do Mandy Hansen and Clark Pederson have kids?
Yes, Hansen and Pederson welcomed their daughter, Sailor, in November 2021. They also seemingly added another child to the family in 2024, as Hansen was seen breastfeeding a newborn baby in a photo that Pederson posted for their anniversary in June 2024.

While Hansen and Pederson don’t post much on social media anymore, a 2024 baby would match up with the fact that she took off from Season 20 of Deadliest Catch, which aired in the second half of that year. Hansen was likely pregnant with her second child during filming. She previously stepped away from the show during Season 18, which was filmed while she was pregnant with Sailor.
Before welcoming Sailor, Hansen and Pederson dealt with a pregnancy loss. In February 2019, she posted photos of baby clothes, captioned, “Though I lost you my previous season onboard, I still think about you everyday. Words cannot describe the hurt and the love I still feel for you. May we meet one day little one. Momma’s got you in her heart forever and ever.”
