When is The Golden Bachelor Season 2 finale?
The Golden Bachelor finale is set to air on Wednesday, November 12. The November 5 episode featured Owens and his Final 2 on their overnight dates.
A logline for the November 5 episode revealed, “Mel takes one woman on an exhilarating dune buggy adventure, then faces his fears by swimming with stingrays alongside the other. Later, a romantic dinner takes an unexpected turn.”
In the Season 2 finale, Owens will have to make his final decision, and a previously-released preview revealed that his sons, Lucas and Andre, will be there to help guide him as the “final chapter” plays out.
What time is The Golden Bachelor Season 2 finale?
Like the Season 1 finale, this episode is expected to be two hours long, airing at 8/7c, instead of its usual 9/8c slot.
In addition to scenes from the pre-filmed episode and final rose ceremony, there will also be an After the Final Rose segment, which will feature Owens center stage to address the finale. He will also share the stage with the Final 2 women, one of whom he may still be in a relationship with today!

The episode was filmed in Antigua. While the rest of the season took place in Los Angeles, with the women residing in the Bachelor mansion, the remaining cast and crew traveled to the Caribbean island for fantasy suites and the final rose ceremony.
Who are Mel Owens’ Final 2 on The Golden Bachelor?
The Final 2 are Cindy Cullers and Peg Munson. We’ll have to wait and see who he chooses and whether they get engaged, but a teaser for the end of the season hinted that Mel will be proposing.
Mel not only said that he came to the show to get engaged, but he’s seen looking at an engagement ring before heading to the final rose ceremony.
Will The Golden Bachelor return for Season 3?
As of now, ABC hasn’t renewed The Golden Bachelor for Season 3. The first season, with Gerry Turner as the lead, aired in September 2023, with Season 2 premiering two years later. Given the show’s history, The Golden Bachelor would likely take 2026 off if it’s renewed, with a new season of The Golden Bachelorette airing in fall 2026.
The network also hasn’t officially renewed The Golden Bachelorette Season 2, but there’s already been discussion amongst the cast about a potential lead. Mel even put in his two cents, telling Swooon and other media outlets that his pick would be Debbie. “She’s sincere and just lovely and in it for the right reasons. And just, man, what a woman. That’d be my vote,” he said.
