Are ‘Selling Sunset’s Emma Hernan & Blake Davis Still Together After Chrishell Stause Drama?
Emma Hernan and Blake Davis’ relationship caused major drama on Season 9 of Selling Sunset, particularly when it came to Hernan’s friendship with Chrishell Stause. Davis made his debut on the most recent season of the Netflix show, which was filmed at the end of 2024 and early 2025, although Hernan previously revealed that he had filmed scenes for Season 8 that were cut.
Stause expressed her concerns about Davis to Hernan, noting that she found him “controlling” and noticed lots of “red flags.” By the penultimate episode of the season, Hernan told her friend that she “ended things” with Davis “for good, for good” after he drunkenly asked her to marry him. Hernan also noted that Davis’ “jealous and possessive” nature when she went on listings began to take a toll on the relationship.
However, during the Episode 9 finale, Hernan seemed to change her tune. She addressed whether she would get back together with him. “If he chooses to step up and do the things I need him to do, would I be open to a conversation? Maybe,” Hernan said.

Stause addressed the pair’s rekindled relationship in an interview with Variety, telling the outlet, “When she told me at the end of the season that they really broke up this time, I did believe it. As you see and will see at the reunion [filmed in August], they got right back together.”
Who is Blake Davis?
Davis is a licensed real estate professional who works at his family’s Atlanta company Davis Development. He’s held the position since May 2015, according to LinkedIn.
Davis Development is a “vertically integrated, multi-family housing developer” that “develops and manages upscale apartment communities throughout the Southeast, Midwest and Southwest regions of the United States.”
Are Emma Hernan and Chrishell Stause still friends?
While Hernan and Davis have been able to make their relationship work, her friendship with Stause is over. “I don’t want to be friends with her anymore,” Stause insisted to Variety. “She’s made it very clear what her morals are, and we do not align.”
Fans first began wondering whether something was up in Stause and Hernan’s friendship when they started posting together less on social media during spring 2025. Stause eventually addressed the speculation in the comments section of one of her Instagram posts in May.
“Ask her about her MAGA bf who told me pronouns are dumb and that he likes to use the N word,” she wrote. “I just can’t with that. Too old to allow that in. But love her from afar.”

Selling Sunset viewers have gotten a deeper glimpse into Stause’s issues with Davis on Season 9 of the show. He made his debut during Episode 4 during a lunch with Hernan, Stause, and Chelsea Lazkani. During the meal, Davis revealed that he’d never eaten a fruit or vegetable.
“It feels like I’m having a conversation with a child or a drunk cheerleader,” Stause said. She also told Hernan, “You don’t want to feel like you’re being someone’s mom … it feels like you’d be his mom a little bit. I hope he’s still maturing. God forbid he doesn’t. I don’t think this is your person. But that’s also probably not what you want to hear right now, so I’ll be quiet.”
Stause was even more infuriated in the next episode when Hernan revealed that Davis told her he didn’t want her to work anymore. “I can’t even believe that’s a conversation. What a douchebag,” she said. She also told her friend, “It’s hard to watch you with someone who doesn’t treat you the way you deserve to be treated,” and expressed her fears that Davis would get Hernan pregnant trap her in the relationship.
“There is a textbook playbook about men that do that,” Stause said, while also referring to Davis as a “love bomber.”
In the next episode, she said in a confessional, “I don’t approve of Blake. He’s really controlling. I’ve seen him be extremely obsessive. He tries to control different things she says, does, who she hangs out with, who she posts. Huge red flags. That’s just really unacceptable.” She even went as far as to tell Hernan that her boyfriend is “the worst.”
Although Stause eventually apologized to Hernan when she found out she was planning to end the relationship with Davis for good, things clearly changed once filming wrapped and the exes got back together.
