Nearly two months after the end of Big Brother Season 27, the third party of the season’s infamous “cheatmance” is speaking out. That’s right, BB fans, Kelsey has finally joined the chat.
On November 7, Season 27 houseguest Vince Panaro‘s ex-girlfriend (according to Vince, they are currently separated) took to her Instagram Story after making her profile public for the first time. During Kelsey’s nearly four-minute-long statement, she finally shared her side of the story, after watching her partner of seven years grow cozy with houseguest Morgan Pope on the Big Brother live stream, in a scandal fans dubbed the “cheatmance.” At this time, both Vince and Morgan maintain that they were just close friends.
“I just want to say, first, this feels a little bizarre. I really never filmed myself recording anything, let alone speaking about my kind of thoughts and feelings,” Kelsey began. “I’m not diving too deep. I’m keeping my floaties on… This is super unnatural for me.”

Kelsey broke down the reasons behind her statement, telling viewers she wanted to explain why she went public on Instagram and stopped posting on Vince’s Instagram halfway through the season. She confessed, “In all honesty, I didn’t think anyone would care that Vinny had a girlfriend. I guess we were both naive in that experience. It seemed like it really kinda took over, and as somebody who is not on the internet that much, [who] is not an influencer-type personality, it really was quite overwhelming to put it lightly.”
After fan speculation about her relationship led to the couple being photographed in public just days after Vince left the Big Brother house, it’s no wonder that Kelsey decided to stay out of the spotlight. Now, she’s reclaiming her narrative. “I started to feel more like myself this week, and had a little bit of an epiphany,” she revealed. “I was thinking about how so many rumors, and people speaking for me, and things were popping up just kind of out of control during that time.”
She continued, “It really did matter to me. I know who I am, and I’m a very confident person, as Vinny describes me in an interview. That doesn’t really quite shake me.” Instead, she is invested in, as she put it, “taking back power after it felt like it was abruptly taken from me.” Letting fans into her experience, explaining, “Having people speak for me, having people claim they know what’s going on in my relationship, having it just be this like dogpile experience… It was a really unique one.”
While Kelsey didn’t specifically mention her relationship status with Vince or his connection with his costar, Morgan, she did share, “I don’t want anyone to receive hate just because I’m here and my face is popping up. Please be kind.”
