Chris Harrison caught wind of a photo making the rounds on Facebook that appeared to show his wife, Lauren Zima, with a baby bump.

The former Bachelor host called out the poster for doctoring the image and revealed what the original photo looked like without the fake bump.

“Some sad person doctored a photo of LZ and said we’re expecting,” Harrison wrote. “NOT true and not cool! Y’all have a great day.” Harrison had posted a carousel of photos with Zima on November 7 captioned, “Glammed up for a phenomenal evening with the best people,” and one of those images was the one that another social media user doctored.

Harrison and Zima got married in 2023 after five years together. He was previously married to his high school sweetheart, Gwen, whom he shares two children with, until 2012.

In June, Zima revealed that she and Harrison don’t have plans to have any children together, but said she decided to be proactive in freezing her eggs in case she changed her mind about wanting kids one day. “It got really scary because that biological clock is ticking,” Zima explained.

Still, she said being a stepmother to Harrison’s kids has fulfilled her parenting void for now. “We started dating when they were teenagers and I love them, I would do anything for them. I would die for them,” Zima shared. “So, you know, I have that parenting there, so I don’t feel, like, this need, and I don’t know that I ever felt that need.”

Zima’s father died in 2010, and she was tasked with helping her mom raise her younger siblings, which she admitted was “a lot of parenting at a young age,” and is the biggest reason why she doesn’t feel the need to have kids of her own.

“Everyone’s first reaction when you say you’re freezing your eggs … I won’t say everyone … [but] a lot of people’s first reaction is, ‘That’s so exciting. Oh my God, you guys are trying!'” Zima acknowledged. “And then as a woman, I’m backed into this corner of having to explain, ‘Well, no, I’m not really sure that I want kids. In fact, I don’t think I want children,’ which can be a very volatile thing to say to other women, especially women who have kids.”
