There are going to be some fresh faces on Season 11 of Southern Charm! One of the show’s new cast members is Whitner “Whit” Slagsvol, who was a former schoolmate of Craig Conover‘s at Charleston School of Law. In his Bravo bio, he’s described as someone who has “keen perspective, which manifests into an ability to mediate group conflict like an old pro.”
Whit passed the bar exam in South Carolina and founded his law firm in Charleston in 2017. Needless to say, he is definitely a catch. But is there a special someone in his life? Scroll down for everything we know about Whit and his relationship status.
Is Whit Slagsvol in a relationship?
Whit’s relationship status has not been confirmed, but he does not appear to currently have a girlfriend. However, Whit is not super active on social media (he only has two posts from 2025), so it could just be that he’s not comfortable sharing much about his personal life online.
Whit does have love in his life, though. His dog pops up on his page quite a bit, including in a pinned post from 2023 captioned, “Today is the Wündēr Dog’s 10th birthday.”
In July 2024, his family added another dog to the mix. “Allow me to introduce Artemis, the new boss of the household – Greek goddess of the hunt, wild animals, and the moon,” Whit captioned a series of photos, which showed himself, his mom, and his dad with their new pet.
How is Whit Slagsvol related to Jimmy Buffett?
Jimmy Buffett was reportedly Whit’s uncle through marriage! Various Facebook accounts have reported that Whit’s aunt is Jane Slagsvol, who married the late singer in 1977. Aside from a brief separation in the 1980s, Jimmy and Jane were together until his death in 2023.

In 2018, Whit’s sister, Sarah Bella Slagsvol, uploaded a photo to her Instagram Story of Whit and Jimmy. The shot showed the men posing in front of surfboards amid a huricane threat in South Carolina.
