The Prime Video drama, which stars Harriet Herbig-Matten and Damian Hardung as star-crossed lovers Ruby and James, is based on Mona Kasten’s bestselling trilogy of the same name. Like the show, the books — Save Me, Save You, and Save Us — are German. This year, however, Kasten’s books were translated to English for the first time, so English-speaking fans could finally get to know the couple on the page as well as on the screen. Who wouldn’t jump at the chance for more Ruby and James?

Speaking for ourselves, we also couldn’t wait to find out if they got a happy ending, so we snagged some English copies as soon as they became available. It’s a good thing we did, because when the show’s stars made their way to Swooon‘s studio to chat about all things Maxton Hall, we asked them to sign the books.
