Who Is Jordan Davis’ Wife? Inside His Marriage to Kristen O’Connor
Jordan Davis‘ country music career has taken off big-time in the last few years, and throughout it all, he’s had the support of his wife, Kristen O’Connor. When the two first met, Davis was a struggling songwriter in Nashville and was also working as a bartender. O’Connor has been there for him through all of his big career milestones.
Now, the “Buy Dirt” crooner is cohosting CMA Country Christmas with Lauren Daigle, marking another career first. Scroll down to learn more about his wife and their relationship.
How did Jordan Davis meet his wife?
“We met in Houma, Louisiana,” Davis shared on the CMT Hot 20 countdown in 2020. “I was down for my college roommate’s wedding. She was down for her sorority sister’s wedding. It was two totally separate weddings.”
However, both of the wedding parties were staying at the same hotel, Davis explained. “We ended up meeting after the wedding down in the lobby of the Holiday Inn Express in Houma,” he continued. “Very romantic.”
The pair’s groups of friends ran into each other in the lobby, then crossed paths again in the elevator. “Jordan and his friends were in there with a bottle of Jose Cuervo,” O’Connor said. “We’re just taking shots in an elevator. We rode the elevator up and down with them for … it felt like a long time. We were just up and down, having a party.”
The next day, the two both happened to be at the same bar, and Davis ended up switching his flight so he could stay and party with O’Connor and her friends. In a separate interview, he explained that O’Connor was dating someone else at the time, but they exchanged numbers and kept in touch. “About two months later, a month later, she came into town for CMA Music Fest and told me that she no longer had a boyfriend, and here we are,” he added.
The meeting took place in 2014, and the couple tied the knot in March 2017. Davis sang about meeting his now-wife on the song “Detours” in 2020.
What does Kristen O’Connor do for a living?
O’Connor is an attorney at Troutman Pepper and Locke, according to LinkedIn and the company’s website. She started the position in 2011, but began working from home in 2014 when she relocated to Nashville.
During a 2022 interview on Shawn Johnson and Andrew East‘s podcast, O’Connor shared that she works in “mergers and acquisitions,” and mostly does “public company work.”
Per her firm’s website, O’Connor “counsels businesses through all phases of the business life cycle, from formation, capital raising, expansion, and growth up to, and including, the sale or wind-down of a business.”
O’Connor went to James Madison University for undergrad and graduated from The College of William and Mary Law School in 2010.
Do Jordan Davis and his wife have kids?
Yes, the couple are parents to four children. Their first child, daughter Eloise, was born in November 2019, followed by sons Locklan and Elijah in November 2021 and June 2023, respectively. Their fourth child, a baby girl named Sadie, was born in July 2025.

They don’t plan on adding to the brood in the future, though. “I’m telling you right now, it’s over bro,” Davis confirmed to Taste of Country. “Me and Kristen weren’t really trying to have another kid. It was one of those things, like, when she told me [she was pregnant], I was like, ‘Whatever.'”
He said he found out about baby No. 4 during the early hours of the morning before his wife left for a girls’ trip. “I had just got in off the road the day before,” he explained. “So, [I’m] already tired, looking forward to sleeping in, and at 4:45 she’s like, ‘Uhhh, I’m pregnant.'”
