Taylor Frankie Paul is spilling some tea amid filming of her season of The Bachelorette. Season 22 has been in production since late October, and Paul dropped a hint about what’s to come on her Instagram Story.
While the show’s leads and contestants aren’t usually allowed to have their phones during filming, Paul has been active on social media in recent weeks, giving an unprecedented BTS look at her season.
In her December 11 update, Paul posted a selfie and wrote, “Teaser: last night was one of the BEST nights of my life can’t wait to talk about it in like 6 months LMFAO.”
Season 22 of The Bachelorette doesn’t premiere until March, so the end of Paul’s journey won’t be public until May, which means fans won’t get to see what she’s talking about for quite some time. Of course, viewers already have some theories about what this could mean.

“Someone proposed,” one person on Reddit theorized, although others suggested that filming probably hasn’t gotten to that point just yet. “She just took a video with all the [Secret Lives of Mormon Wives] girls though so maybe they’re done or at hometowns!” another person pointed out, referring to a separate social media post that Paul shared with some of her Hulu costars.
“Did Dakota [Mortensen] crash the season and whisk her away?” another person wondered. Mortensen is Paul’s ex, with whom she shares one child (she also has two kids with ex-husband Tate Paul).
Someone else wrote, “My guess: One of the remaining guys said ILY,” and a separate fan agreed, adding, “Yeah that’s what I’m thinking.”
Paul’s casting as the Bachelorette was announced in September. During The Golden Bachelor finale in November, ABC aired a first look at the new season, which featured a conversation between Paul and host Jesse Palmer. The clip included Palmer asking Paul if she thought her husband could be among the group of suitors, and she confirmed, “Yes, I do think that.”
