With Christmas just a few days away, it’s the perfect time of year to revisit one of the greatest holiday rom-coms of all time: The Holiday. Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz star in the beloved 2006 Nancy Meyers flick about two women who participate in a home exchange during the holidays.

At the start of the film, Iris (Winslet) is left devastated after her ex, Jasper (Rufus Sewell), whom she’s still in love with, cheats on her and gets engaged to someone else. Meanwhile, Amanda (Diaz) ends her relationship with boyfriend Ethan (Ed Burns) after learning he cheated on her.

But after swapping homes to get through the dreadful holiday season while heartbroken, both women find love again. Who do they end up with? Scroll down for a refresh!

Who does Iris end up with in The Holiday?

Iris, who lives in England and travels to California to live in Amanda’s home, ends up with Miles (Jack Black) at the end of the film. Miles is a colleague of Amanda’s ex, and he bonds with Iris over their similar relationship issues, as Miles was also cheated on.

Miles and Iris have Christmas Eve dinner together, but their relationship is nearly threatened when Jasper shows up and asks Iris to take him back. Since he’s still engaged, though, Iris refuses. Miles’ ex also tries to win him back, but he does not give in. Miles ultimately asks Iris to spend New Year’s Eve with him and agrees to travel to England so they can be together for the holiday.

Who does Amanda end up with in The Holiday?

Amanda ends up with Iris’ brother, Graham (Jude Law). Their relationship begins when he drunkenly arrives at Amanda’s home, where Iris is staying, and asks to spend the night. She decides to sleep with him because she believes she will never see him again, as she was planning on leaving the next day after struggling to adapt to Iris’ quiet life in England.

When Amanda decides to stay, she continues seeing Graham, although it’s under the assumption that he is also seeing many other women at the same time. She’s shocked when she shows up at his house and finds out he is a single father with two young daughters, having lost his wife a few years earlier.

Graham explains that he keeps his life as a father separate from his romantic relationships and doesn’t want to introduce the girls to anyone unless it’s going to be serious. He eventually tells Amanda that he’s in love with her, and they agree to try dating long distance. As she’s headed to the airport, Amanda decides to turn around so she can spend New Year’s Eve with Graham and the girls.

They’re joined by Miles and Iris for the celebration at the end of the movie, as well.
