Sylvester Stallone’s Family Guide: His 5 Kids, Wife Jennifer Flavin & More
Sylvester Stallone is one of the honorees at the 2025 Kennedy Center Honors. The event took place earlier this month and will air on CBS and Paramount+ on Tuesday, December 23.
The legendary actor’s wife, Jennifer Flavin, supported him at the event. They walked the red carpet together, and she was there as he accepted his honor inside.

How many times has Sylvester Stallone been married?
Stallone has been married three times. His first wife was Sasha Czack, whom he married in 1978. They were together for more than a decade before their 1985 divorce.
In December 1985, Stallone married Brigitte Nielsen, but the union only lasted for two years. He went on to tie the knot with Flavin, who is 23 years his junior, in 1997.
Who is Sylvester Stallone’s wife?
Stallone and Flavin met at a restaurant in Beverly Hills. “I was in this dark restaurant, a few people,” Stallone recalled on his family’s reality show, The Family Stallone. “She came in and … whoa. Something happened. I just felt, like, this jolt, like, ‘Oh, did we just have a minor earthquake or something?'”

Flavin agreed, adding, “We just hit it off, it was crazy. We were inseparable all night.”
Flavin is a model-turned-businesswoman. She is now a co-owner of Serious Skin Care, a brand she partnered with after battling acne. Flavin teamed up with the small shop in 1994 and helped the brand gain national recognition. The company has grossed over $1 billion.
Why did Sylvester Stallone and his wife separate?
Stallone and Flavin first separated in 1994. The two had been dating for six years at the time. The relationship ended because Stallone thought he was having a child with Janice Dickinson. He and Dickinson even got engaged, but he broke it off in early 1994 when a DNA test proved he was not the baby’s father.
Stallone briefly got engaged to Angie Everhart in 1995, but when they split, he went on to rekindle his romance with Flavin.
Flavin filed for divorce in August 2022 after 25 years of marriage. “[They] are very different people, age-wise and in temperament,” a source told People at the time. “What was once exciting and challenging is now routine and irritating.” The insider noted Stallone’s impulsive nature as one reason for the separation.
In her divorce filing, Flavin claimed her husband “has engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estate.” People’s source added, “It really wasn’t just one issue that made her file for divorce. They have had lots of issues for years and she just had enough.”
One month after Flavin’s divorce filing, the couple reconciled. A subsequent court filing noted, “[They agree] it is in the best interests of each of them individually, and more importantly collectively as a family, to resolve all issues attendant to the dissolution of their marriage in a dignified, amicable and private manner out-of-court.” The actor’s rep also told Page Six, “They decided to meet back up at home, where they talked and were able to work out their differences. They are both extremely happy.”
How many kids does Sylvester Stallone have?
Stallone is a father to five children. He shares his sons Sage (who died in 2012) and Seargeoh with Czak. He and Flavin have three daughters: Sophia Stallone, Sistine Stallone, and Scarlet Stallone.
Seargeoh was diagnosed with autism when he was 3 years old and lives life out of the spotlight.
However, Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet are very much in the public eye. They served as Golden Globe Ambassadors in 2016 and starred alongside their parents on The Family Stallone in 2023 and 2024.
Sistine and Scarlet have also dabbled in modeling, with the former also taking on a few acting roles. Sophia, who has worked as a producer, and Sistine host the Unwaxed podcast together.
What happened to Sylvester Stallone’s son?
Sage Stallone died unexpectedly from heart disease on July 13, 2012. He was 36 years old at the time.
“It’s very, very tough,” Stallone said. “It’s a horrible situation, but time hopefully will heal, and you try to get through it.” In his 2023 documentary, he revealed that the strained relationship between Rocky and his son in Rocky V was based on his own experiences.
“Unfortunately, you put things before your family. And the repercussions are quite radical and devastating,” Stallone admitted.
