The happy couple has been dating since 2012. While White is known for her role on Wheel of Fortune, Donaldson owns a construction company, JDC Construction + Development Group, which he founded in 1987.
White and Donaldson met in 2012 when she was hosting a barbecue, and he attended the event as a guest of one of her friends. The two talked “for a long time” at the party and subsequently started dating.
Prior to her relationship with Donaldson, White was married to George Santo Pietro. She shares Nicholas, born in 1994, and Giovanna, born in 1997, with Santo Pietro. The exes divorced in 2002. White then got engaged to Michael Kaye in 2004, but they split in 2006. She was also engaged to John Gibson before he died in a 1986 plane crash.
In 2023, White and Donaldson did not have plans to get married. “Do we have to get married? No, because we feel comfortable in our relationship,” she told People at the time. “You know what I mean? I know that he’s the one. He knows I’m the one.”
She confirmed that she and Donaldson already felt “married,” despite not making it official. However, she teased, “You never know. I mean, I guess we could.” And they did!
