While The Muppet Show was absolutely fantastic back in the day, there were no purely romance-focused entertainment news sites to ask Kermit the Frog and his leading lady, Miss Piggy, the question on everyone’s mind: Kermit and Miss Piggy, what makes you swoon?
Thankfully, Seth Rogen has revived The Muppet Show for one night only (at least for now). On February 4, the Muppets will finally return to their theater and light the lights for another episode of The Muppet Show. To celebrate the revival of their phenomenal variety show, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy sat down with Swooon to finally share what makes them swoon. Naturally, their responses did not disappoint.
Kermit, ever the romantic, asked Swooon, “As in faint?” He continued, “I mean, I guess, anxiety, I suppose.” Miss Piggy was clearly hoping for a different answer. She turned to Kermit, saying, “Anxiety? I mean, here you are staring at me. I’m right here in your presence.”

According to Kermit, this only proved his point. “Yep, that’s pretty much the top of my anxiety.” Seems like the couple hasn’t made amends since their unexpected split in 2015.
On the other hand, Miss Piggy revealed what makes her swoon as well. She told us, “I love love. I love poetry.” She then added, “I’m in a corset that’s too tight. That definitely makes me swoon. Yeah. I’m wearing one right now. I’m getting a little faint.”
Flagging over someone off camera to bring Miss Piggy some water, Kermit proved that he still cares for Miss Piggy despite their history. Needless to say, that gesture alone was enough to make us swoon.
