Now, we know that Pedro and his new flame, Sophie Sierra, are headed to a birthday party with both his sister and his mom.
Fans first met Pedro during Season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé, when he moved to the United States to marry Chantel Everett. While the duo has since broken up, fans fell in love with both of their families on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Seasons 2-4. This led to their own spinoff show, The Family Chantel, which centered around the tension between Chantel’s family and Pedro’s family, who live in the Dominican Republic.

Who is Pedro Jimeno?
Pedro is a 90 Day Fiancé alum who will return to the franchise for 90 Day: The Single Life Season 5, which will feature his budding relationship with fellow 90 Day veteran Sophie. According to his social media presence, Pedro has moved to Georgia and works in real estate.
After he broke up with Chantel, Pedro told The Family Chantel viewers, “The damage is done already. It’s not going to be any reconciliation in the future.” He later added, “I’m at peace with the marriage… I wish the best for Chantel.”

While Pedro’s mother, Lidia Morel, appeared on The Family Chantel, his father is not present in his life. On The Family Chantel, Pedro shared, “I don’t have a father. I don’t know my father. My mom tells us that he has another family. I don’t ask too much about that story because it’s too hard for me.”
During the preview for The Single Life Episode 6, Pedro told viewers, “My mom, my sister, they are… Very savage.” Pedro’s mother, Lidia, most recently appeared on 90 Day: Love in Paradise Season 3 with her American boyfriend, Scott Wern. Pedro’s sister, Nicole Jimeno, made a big splash as a series regular on The Family Chantel, where she seemed to be one of the greatest opponents of Pedro and Chantel’s relationship. Now, it looks like Sophie’s going to need Nicole’s approval before she and Pedro can move forward in the Dominican Republic.
In the preview for Episode 7, Pedro tells Sophie and Julia Trubkina, “My sister, she’s crazy, that’s the problem.” She can then be seen telling Sophie, “This is the famous Sophie. You are making my brother suffering.” As Sophie put it, “After everything Pedro’s been through, you would think his family wants him to be happy and find someone, but it feels like they’re just trying to sabotage any chance he has.” Cue: the screaming match.

During a teaser for the season, Sophie asked Nicole, “Why are you so involved in your brother’s love life?” Nicole responded, “I am just here concerned about him and asking you about it.” Sophie retorted, “You can be concerned, but don’t come at me hostile because I don’t know you.” After Nicole told Sophie, “You cannot talk to me like that,” Sophie concluded, “You guys have a f**king weird relationship.”
