‘Love Is Blind’: What Happened to Elissa Finley? All About Her Medical Emergency

While Elissa Finley didn’t find love in the pods, the Ohio native made a massive impact in the first few episodes of Season 10 when a medical emergency nearly sent her out of the pods for good.
Elissa joined the Love Is Blind Season 10 cast as a nurse in her late 30s, hoping to find a “love that’s kind.” Ahead of the season, the Pod Squad newbie told her Instagram followers, “Ya’ll !!! Here goes nothin!!! I’m so excited to reveal that I participated in Love is Blind Season 10! I can’t wait for you to see whether love is truly blind ! Love is Blind premieres February 11th, only on Netflix.”

Who is Love Is Blind‘s Elissa Finley?
Love Is Blind Season 10 contestant Elissa Finley is a 39-year-old certified aesthetic nurse injector from Cincinnati, Ohio. According to Tudum, Elissa has two cats and a dog. She told the streamer, “If he’s allergic, he’s going to have to get a shot. They were here first.” When it comes to a relationship (with a fan of her fur babies, of course!), Elissa explained, “I’m just excited about going to the grocery store and cooking together, and then sitting down and watching our favorite show.”

What happened to Elissa on Love Is Blind?
In the last second of Episode 1 of Love Is Blind Season 10, Elissa walks into the Women’s Quarters in a panic, exclaiming, “Oh my God! What do I do?” Then she can be heard crying, “I cannot believe I just did that.” As sirens approach, a producer tells her, “We’re going to have to send you out.” So, what exactly happened to Elissa?
The next morning, Elissa returns to the Women’s Quarters wearing glasses. She tells the rest of the ladies, “I go in [to the bathroom], and there’s a little bottle there. And I wanted to put eye drops in my eye. It was nail glue.” That’s right, Elissa, put nail glue in her eye.
Thankfully, they were able to flush Elissa’s eye at the hospital, and her vision was not permanently impacted. “Love is half blind,” Ashley Carpenter joked. “You’re really committing.”
Who did Elissa date in the pods?
It’s unclear whether Elissa had any big connections in the Pods. However, she did share what she is looking for from the experience during the first few minutes of Episode 1. She explained, “A lot of people judge me by how I look and want to take me home, but not take me home to mama.” This warranted a sympathetic “awwww” from Vanessa Lachey.
Elissa can later be seen talking with Kevan Jones, who tells her, “I don’t wanna always meet a girl, like, at a bar.” After she asks him where he wants to meet a potential partner, Kevan responds, “Target.” Aside from that, we don’t see much of Elissa in the pods.
