His family confirmed that he had been admitted to an Atlanta hospital on Thursday, January 29. “He is alert, aware and, recovering. The Aaron family has a lot to deal with for the betterment of their loved one, but will be sure to keep everyone posted regarding Quinton’s health as we see fit,” according to statement obtained by Us Weekly.
Several days later, the Aaron family did indeed give the outlet an update, which brought up concerns about Quinton’s “spiritual wife.” “Since the health crisis of our beloved family member Quinton Aaron, we have raised some suspicions about the legitimacy of Quinton and Margarita’s marriage to each other, as well as her legitimacy as a registered nurse. We have found some alarming details,” said the February 3 statement.

Not much is known about Leta, though her private Instagram bio reads, “Married !!! Makeup artist, Mom, Proud Latina.”
Aaron has posted Leta on his Instagram for several years, including on her birthday in 2024. “I was almost late slipping on my Pimpin, but I wanted to take some time out to give love to my Mrs. Margarita Leta. It’s your birthday.God has showed out with you in the best way. It’s my pleasure to be your man I’m so grateful that I am. Love you mama!!!” he wrote on Instagram.
The same day that the “alarming details” allegation about Leta came out, Aaron’s cousin, Asia, claimed that Leta has been married to another man for 34 years. Per an interview with Us Weekly, Asia said, “I spoke to her real legal husband myself.”
The actor’s brother, Jarred Aaron, also told TMZ that Leta is married to another man. “I genuinely fear for my brother’s life,” he said, explaining his fear that Leta was acting as his legal wife to make “crucial and life-saving medical decisions.”
Leta also responded to the Aaron family’s claims, per TMZ. She denied making any medical decisions for Quinton and said she had “no power of attorney.” “If [Jarred] is saying I’m such a bad person, why does he live with me and Quinton?” she asked. Jarred responded that he didn’t know they weren’t legally married.

When Leta spoke to TMZ, she said that she “spiritually married” the actor in December 2024. As far back as December 2023, Quinton referred to Leta as his wife. “Merry Christmas everyone from my beautiful Wife @margaritaleta75 and I.
