‘The Bachelor’s Daisy Kent Gives Wedding Planning Update 4 Months After Thor Herbst’s Proposal

Daisy Kent and Thor Herbst’s wedding planning is well underway! The Bachelor runner-up previously confirmed that she’s going to be a winter 2026 bride, so her big day is less than a year away, and she shared a new update on where she’s at with planning.
In a TikTok video, Kent admitted that “this next year will fly by” while she and Herbst are in the thick of wedding arrangements, which she called “so fun and crazy.”
“We just locked down the place and time we’re doing my bridal shower with my mom,” Kent shared. “We’re going to do that back home. I’m actually going dress shopping this weekend with my sisters and my mom and my aunts and my grandma.”
In another video, Kent revealed that one of the toughest parts of wedding planning has been narrowing down the guest list. “We both have big families, and we both have so many close family friends, and we also have really close friend groups, so that part has been a little difficult,” she explained.

The children’s book author also reflected on her time living in Las Vegas with Herbst, noting that it’s been “almost a year” since she relocated to be with him in March 2025. “We’re starting to make this place a home, and it’s really special to do that with the person you love, and this is the first time I’ve done that,” Kent said. “I’ve never lived with a boy besides my siblings growing up. The backyard’s almost done. I cannot wait for that, especially since the summers here are so insanely hot and I’m from the cold. So, being in the extreme hot, having a pool, will be very beneficial for me.”
With Kent’s wedding taking place before the end of 2026, that means she’ll walk down the aisle before Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson, who are still eyeing a spring 2027 wedding. Kent and Anderson were the final two on Graziadei’s season of The Bachelor, which filmed in fall 2023. He ended up proposing to Anderson, and Kent reconnected with Herbst, a friend from college, shortly after the Season 28 finale aired in March 2024.
After getting engaged so quickly, Graziadei and Anderson made it clear that they had no plans to rush to tie the knot. In the pair’s most recent update, Anderson revealed that they hope to lock down their wedding location and date by the end of this month.
