‘Off Campus’ Scores Season 2 Renewal: All the Latest Updates
What To Know
- Prime Video has renewed Off Campus for a second season before the first season’s premiere.
- The series is based on Elle Kennedy’s college hockey romance novels, which includes five main books.
- The show has revealed several returning cast members.
Score! Off Campus Season 1 hasn’t even debuted yet — it’s officially coming in May 2026 — but Prime Video has already confirmed more is coming. On February 12, the streamer revealed that we’re headed back to Briar University for another semester.
“Off Campus captures the kind of emotionally charged, character-driven storytelling that truly resonates with our global Prime Video audience,” Peter Friedlander, Head of Global Television for Amazon MGM Studios, said in a statement. “With its passionate fan base, rich source material, and an incredible creative team bringing Briar U to life, we knew that this series had the depth and momentum to continue beyond its first season.”
He continued, “Set against the high-intensity world of college hockey, the series explores deeply personal journeys and is brought to life by a tremendously talented cast whose chemistry and authenticity make every moment feel real. We have great confidence in the way Louisa has mastered this adaptation, and we’re excited to give fans even more of the romance, friendship, and heart that define the series.”
Based on Elle Kennedy’s college hockey romance series of the same name, Off Campus Season 1 will adapt her first book, The Deal. It tells the opposites-attract romance between music major Hannah (Ella Bright) and superstar hockey player Garrett (Belmont Cameli), who make a deal to fake date before deeper feelings arise — but what will Off Campus Season 2 be about? And when does it come out for that matter? Swooon has all the latest updates below.
When is Off Campus Season 2’s release date?
Though we know Season 1 is coming in hot in May 2026, the streamer hasn’t shared when Season 2 will premiere. It all depends when it starts shooting. For reference, Season 1 was shot over the course of Summer 2025, and it will premiere about a year later. Once we know that production has begun, it’ll be easier to estimate the timeline for Season 2.
Upon the show’s renewal, Prime Video uploaded a video of Off Campus creator Louisa Levy sharing the news with the cast. After the Season 1 press tour, Levy told the actors that they’re “gonna put [them] right back on a plane and send [them] back to set” for Season 2.

Which couple will Off Campus Season 2 be about?
That’s the big question. If the series follows the order of Kennedy’s books, then The Mistake would be the focus of Season 2. It follows Antonio Cipriano’s John Logan and Grace Ivers’ romance. After Logan has a one-night stand with freshman Grace, Logan mistakenly pushes her away. As he tries to get back in her good graces, Logan has to make hard decisions about his future as graduation approaches. Though Logan could pursue an NHL career after college, he has to return home to take care of his troubled father.
Grace hasn’t been cast for Season 1, since she doesn’t appear in The Deal. It makes us wonder if Off Campus might switch up the order of the five books, the latter of which is a series of novellas. The Mistake is followed by The Score (Dean’s book) and The Goal (Tucker’s book). Prime Video has already revealed who’s playing the love interest to Stephen Kalyn‘s Dean: Mika Abdalla. Dean and Allie’s romance doesn’t happen until Book 3, but we’ll get to know both characters in Season 1, since Allie is Hannah’s roommate and Dean is Garrett’s.

Who is in the Off Campus Season 2 cast?
Prime Video’s renewal statement confirmed that Bright, Cameli, Abdalla, Kalyn, Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks (Tucker), and Josh Heuston (Justin, Hannah’s crush) are “series regulars.” Only Heuston didn’t appear in the Season 2 announcement video. The statement didn’t mention the return of any of the other confirmed Season 1 cast members.
