During Episode 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life Season 5, fans became reacquainted with 90 Day: Hunt for Love star Cortney Reardanz and her boyfriend, fellow Hunt for Love alum, Colt Johnson, who revealed that he is still in contact with a woman he had been talking to before the retreat. Now, Cortney’s ready to reveal to Swooon whether she knew about these messages or not.
After leaving Hunt for Love together following Colt’s shocking leg injury, Colt and Cortney moved in together, living with her parents at their house in Orlando. The Single Life picked up where Hunt for Love left off, taking viewers behind the scenes on their new life together.
There, Colt explained, “Diana and I met a year ago online. Originally, I had plans to meet Diana in Brazil after the singles retreat ended, but me and Cortney and my injury ultimately changed those plans.” As a producer asked, “Are you still in contact with Diana?” Colt revealed, “I still talk to Diana. It’s been hard to let her go. Me and Cortney, right now, I’m taking it one day at a time.”
Looking back at her boyfriend’s shocking secret, Cortney revealed to Swooon, “I did not know he was still talking to her or planning to meet her.” However, she did know about Diana during their time on Hunt for Love.
Cortney explained, “I knew [about Diana] in Mexico. Colt told me, like, ‘Hey, I was planning to go back to Brazil after Hunt for Love.'” According to Cortney, she was planning on heading back to Orlando. She admitted she was talking to some guys at home, and Colt told her he was talking to a few girls in Brazil. She also found out he was talking to a woman in Mexico, who “sent him flowers for his recovery,” which he had revealed at the time.
While he was “open and honest” after Hunt for Love, Cortney explained, “Once he moved into my house, he told me he cut off all other women. He was into me. He only wanted to date me. And I think that was true, because one of the girls was online, like, crying about it. I felt sorry for her, but at the same time, I couldn’t really reach out or say anything because of the NDA and stuff, too.”
That being said, she made it clear, “I did not know he was still talking to Diana, though, and that was a shock to me, because he was constantly reassuring me that I could trust him. He’s only with me. We’re exclusive.”
“To see he was doing all this behind my back,” Cortney admitted, “I was like, why are you convincing me to trust you?”
