‘Summer House’: Who Is Mia Calabrese’s Boyfriend? Inside Her Relationship With Scott
Mia Calabrese is one of the newbies on Season 10 of Summer House. While several of the new cast members came in single, though, she arrived to the show with a serious boyfriend.
While Mia and her boyfriend, Scott Robert Williams, are mostly private about their relationship, she gave some intel about her man in Episode 3, and we did some digging to learn more.

What is Mia Calabrese’s boyfriend’s job?
Scott is a restaurant owner, Mia revealed. He owns restaurants in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles (more on those below).
However, restaurateur wasn’t always Scott’s job title. He previously worked in finance at a hedge fund for 10 years. “I was an intern, then an analyst, then a senior analyst, then I quit,” he told Coveteur. “I never fully bought into it, and I think that stood out, given all the side projects I was always working on.”
Those side projects included modeling, starting a clothing line, and DJing. After he quit his finance job, Scott began bartending and coming up with the concept for his first restaurant, which he opened in 2018.
“He is the hardest working man that I know,” Mia admitted. “I love that about him, but it also drives me insane.”
What restaurants does Mia Calabrese’s boyfriend own?
Scott’s first restaurant was Las’ Lap in New York City. The restaurant was named after the final hour of celebration during Trinidad & Tobago’s Carnival. A second location opened in Miami in September 2025, and Scott also owns Lap Cafe & Vinyl Bar in Miami.
In Los Angeles, he owns the establishments Linden and Jerk. Per his Instagram bio, he also helps run New York’s Chopped Cheese.
With locations on both coasts, Scott is never in one place for long. “Scott travels all the time for work,” Mia explained. “I saw him half of the year last year. I say that with no exaggeration.”

Mia and Scott met through mutual friends, she revealed on Summer House. It’s unclear how long they’ve been together.
What is the controversy with Michael B. Jordan and Scott Robert Williams?
Scott is a business partners with Michael B. Jordan, who is also an investor in his NYC restaurant Las’ Lap. In 2021, they teamed up for another project and launched a rum called J’Ouvert. When Jordan celebrated the launch of the brand on social media, he received backlash for trying to trademark the name, which is a traditional celebration that signals the start of Carnival in Trinidad & Tobago.
Jordan was accused of cultural appropriation and slammed for his trademark request, which claimed that “the wording J’Ouvert has no known meaning in a foreign language.” Many pointed out that J’Ouvert is a cultural and historical term in the Caribbean, and a petition was signed by thousands who supported the call for Jordan to dismiss the filing.
Even Nicki Minaj weighed in, writing on X, “I’m sure MBJ didn’t intentionally do anything he thought Caribbean ppl would find offensive — but now that you are aware, change the name & continue to flourish and prosper.”
After the backlash, Jordan took to social media to apologize and announce he would be changing the brand name. “I just wanna say on behalf of myself and my partners, our intention was never to offend or hurt a culture we love and respect and hoped to celebrate and shine a positive light on. Last few days has been a lot of listening, a lot of learning and engaging in countless community conversations,” he said. “We hear you. I hear you and want to be clear that we are in the process of renaming. We sincerely apologize and look forward to introducing a brand we can all be proud of.”
Scott had no public comment on the matter, although many pointed out that he is from Trinidad.
