Who Is HGTV Star Carolyn Wilbrink’s Husband? Inside Her Marriage & Family
Since 2021, Carolyn Wilbrink has been renovating homes in Canada with her brother, Billy Pearson, for HGTV’s Farmhouse Facelift. While the show centers on the sibling duo, Carolyn has a family of her own behind the scenes, as well.
On June 28, 2003, Carolyn married her husband, Craig Wilbrink. He popped the question the night before her 20th birthday. The couple has been together for more than 20 years and also work together professionally.

What does Craig Wilbrink do for a living?
Craig is the co-owner of CW Design & Co. with his wife. Carolyn leads the company’s design, while Craig is the head of craftsmanship.
Per their website, Craig and Carolyn are the “perfect team to breathe new life into old farmhouses. Together, they create homes that blend history with modern flair, delivering spaces that are as authentic as they are beautiful.”
Craig’s Instagram bio notes that he specializes in “custom builds, legacy properties, and meticulous renovations.” The company was founded in 2019, according to LinkedIn.
How did Carolyn Wilbrink meet her husband?
Carolyn and Craig met when she was just 16 years old, she told Streets of Toronto. She visited the car stereo shop where her now-husband works with a friend, then returned when she got her own license to purchase a stereo for her first car.
“We totally hit it off,” Carolyn recalled. However, they were both in relationships with other people at the time, so they stayed friends at first. “I would often pop by to see him at work,” she admitted. “Then I ran into him at a bar in Burlington one night and we danced for hours. That was definitely the night that Craig became interested. I even kept the dress I wore that night as a memory.”
After Carolyn turned 19, she and Craig “started hanging out,” then had their first official date on November 1, 2000. “During dinner we talked a lot and Craig made me laugh like always, but then there was a very special connection that happened,” she remembered. “We locked eyes and then I told Craig I was starting to fall for him. I had never met anyone who made me feel so comfortable just being me and I just knew in that moment that I had to let him know. Then he told me that he was just about to tell me the same thing.”
Less than one year after that night, Craig proposed.
How many kids does Carolyn Wilbrink have?
Carolyn and Craig are parents to four children. Their oldest son, Jackson, was born in December 2004, followed by daughter Brooklyn in July 2006, then sons Case in April 2012 and Hunter in February 2014.

“They definitely keep us young, and they still think we’re pretty cool,” Carolyn joked. “We love having family movie nights, kitchen dance parties, making up fun games, and helping them make movies.”
In a 2025 Mother’s Day post, Carolyn reflected, “I look at these four incredible humans and still can’t believe I get to be theirs. Jackson, Brooklyn, Case & Hunter have taught me more than I could’ve ever imagined… about patience (sooooo much patience), resilience, vulnerability, perspective, joy, and most of all, unconditional love.”
