The Love Is Blind Season 10 weddings are almost here, and viewers of the show know that’s when the most drama arises. In Episode 11, fiancés Devonta Anderson and Brittany Wicker had a heart-to-heart before they were set to walk down the aisle. Though Brittany was sure she’d say “yes” on their wedding day, Devonta was only “98% sure” he’d do the same. Then, he told his soon-to-be-bride that he wanted a prenup.
“I know the sacrifices that I’ve made to get to where I’m at,” Devonta said. “I don’t ever want to lose that, lose half of that or a lot of that… So I’m not saying that’s directed toward you. That is more for, like, where I feel good in my own space.”
Brittany assured Devonta that she wasn’t spiteful and never would be. “I don’t wanna be married to somebody that feels like they have to protect themselves from me,” she explained.
The prenup talk made us — and likely you, if you’re here — wonder what exactly Devonta does for a living. We’re breaking down the Season 10 star’s job, relationship status, and more below. (Warning: Spoilers for Love Is Blind Season 10, Episodes 1-11, ahead.)
What is Devonta Anderson’s job?
The 32-year-old is an executive loan officer at Rocket Mortgage. Per his profile on the company’s website, he works in Massillon, Ohio, and started there with two years of experience in the mortgage industry. “Purchasing a home can be a very emotional experience and I take pride in guiding clients from start to finish and educating them every step of the way to ensure peace of mind,” says his bio. “I have been blessed to be able to assist over 100 families in the past 12 months leading to over $30+ million in closed loan volume.”

Devonta also appears to dabble in photography, selling prints as a side hustle. According to Tudum, though, the Season 10 star spends most of his time keeping up with sports like basketball and football, and according to his Instagram, playing golf. When it comes to his partner, he said he was looking for a goal-driven woman with a desire to have a family. “I don’t want you to give up your dreams and your passions. I want to be able to support you,” Davonta said.
When did Devonta and Brittany get engaged?
Devonta and Brittany only seemed to have eyes — or ears — for each other in the pods. They got engaged in Episode 4, which was filmed back in early 2025. “I met my best friend, and I am excited to do life with you. Brittany Elena Wicker, will you marry me?” Devonta asked Brittany, who said she couldn’t wait to be his wife.
Are Devonta and Brittany still together?
Devonta and Brittany are still planning to get married as of Episode 11, which saw them attend their bachelor and bachelorette parties. The two haven’t revealed any spoilers on social media, so viewers won’t know if they tied the knot until the finale episode.
Though their pod journey went smoothly, Devonta and Brittany had a different experience on the outside. During their engagement trip, Devonta thought they were in a good place, but Brittany told him, “I just feel like we have not been, like, connecting with each other… It’s just like ‘Do you even, like, find me attractive?’ ‘Cause you don’t ever tell me. And do you even wanna be here with me? I literally don’t feel like we’re even engaged. I feel like we’re just hanging out.”
When Brittany told Devonta that she wanted more physically, Devonta told her, “There’s just a lot going on in my head right now. All the stuff with my family, adjusting back to life. Like, there’s a lot to take in. And I’m walking back with someone not in my family anymore. I’m not saying your feelings aren’t valid, but I don’t know.”
Things got back on track for the most part in Ohio, but Episode 11 saw them face another hurdle. After he suggested the prenup, Devonta said she was concerned about something he heard through the grapevine. Someone at the cast dress fitting told Devonta that Brittany said he didn’t kiss her enough or tell her she’s pretty enough, echoing their previous conflicts. She clarified that they asked what Devonta was going to say about her wedding dress, and she responded that she wasn’t sure, considering that he’s “a man of few words.”
“But I know you’re not somebody that’s ever going to be gushing over me,” she added. “It’s not your personality, and that’s something that I’ve had to come to terms with.”
