‘RHOBH’: How Many Kids Does Rachel Zoe Have? A Guide to Her & Ex Rodger’s Family
The messy aftermath of Rachel Zoe‘s split from Rodger Berman has been playing out on Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Zoe and Berman were married for 26 years when they separated in 2024, and she filed for divorce while filming RHOBH in July 2025.
Her divorce filing came after Berman introduced the former couple’s kids to his new girlfriend while dropping them off at camp. Since he didn’t give Zoe or the children any warning that the new woman in his life was going to be present, the stylist was extremely irked by the situation.
“I mean, it’s not one thing,” she admitted. “It’s an absolute myriad of bad decisions that have been over the last month, the last weeks, the last f**king hour, that would trigger me to move things forward.”
Zoe was also caught off guard when her divorce filing made headlines, as she expected the proceedings to be more private. Luckily, Zoe’s kids were away at camp when the news broke, so they didn’t have access to electronics that would allow them to read the articles posted about it. Still, she vowed to be honest with the children about everything that was happening.

How many kids does Rachel Zoe have?
Zoe has two children. Her first son, Skyler, was born on March 22, 2011, followed by another son, Kaius, on December 22, 2013. Both boys have appeared on RHOBH and supported their mom’s decision to share her life on the show.
“I wouldn’t have agreed to do the show without my kids,” she told People. “I mean, they’re the ones that told me to do it. I told them what it would mean and that mommy would have to be gone a lot more and that they would possibly be on it. I told them I’d be talking pretty openly and honestly about things. They were like, ‘Mom, it’s your truth. You should speak freely and honestly. Don’t hide things from us.'”

Zoe and Berman started dating in 1991 after meeting at George Washington University. They tied the knot in 1998 and waited more than a decade before having kids.
What happened to Rachel Zoe’s son Skyler?
Skyler was hospitalized in 2020 after he fell 40 feet off a ski lift. Zoe said the situation “could have been prevented if the operator had stopped the lift when he saw Sky wasn’t on from the start and [Berman] screaming to stop the lift.”
The Bravo star said it was a “miracle” that her son was OK and thanked the “ski patrol heroes who quickly put a mat under where they thought he would fall,” which she said “ultimately saved his life or from what could have happened.”
Berman was with Sky when the incident happened. The then-9-year-old was in a “full-body brace” when he was taken to the emergency room by ambulance. Berman recalled the situation on his and Zoe’s podcast. He revealed that Skyler had trouble getting on the chairlift and started to slip backwards, prompting Berman and the ski instructor to grab his arms and try to pull him on the chair as it kept making its ascent.
The men were unable to pull Skyler up onto the chair and eventually noticed that Skyler was getting “strangled” by his ski gear, which had all started piling up around his neck. Once the mat was placed where it was estimated that Skyler would fall, Berman and the ski instructor let go of the child at the same time. They then had to continue up the mountain without some of their own equipment, which meant it took a decent amount of time for them to get back down to where Skyler was.
“He was honestly braver than I’ve ever been,” Zoe told People in 2021. “Rodger and I were absolute catatonic messes. He was like, ‘Mommy, I’m okay.’ But as the parents, we were definitely not okay.”

Just days after the accident, Zoe posted a video of Skyler assuring her fans that he was doing fine. “I am doing pretty well,” he said. “I could walk, I could run, and I could go upside down! But besides that, my neck is a little sore, but I’m doing pretty well. I’m doing pretty good.”
Why did Rachel Zoe separate from Rodger Berman?
Zoe admitted on RHOBH that her marriage to Berman became “strained” for a lot of different reasons. However, she noted that things changed in their relationship once they had kids, noting that they were together for 18 years before the children came along. Working together was also an issue because “lines get crossed,” she added.
It was during the February 26 episode, though, that Zoe gave insight into the major betrayal in August 2024 that caused her to pull the plug on her relationship. “He was in Aspen. I wouldn’t go to Aspen because I had to host a thing here. It’s a whole thing. And whatever happened, happened, and I just split open,” she revealed.
Zoe wouldn’t specify what she meant by “whatever happened,” but clarified that there was a “fight” and that the incident made it “real f**king easy” to let go of the relationship. She also said the trust was broken after that weekend.
On a previous RHOBH episode, Zoe revealed that Berman had been dating his new girlfriend for a year, which prompted a producer to confirm whether the relationship began “right after you guys separated.” Zoe replied, “I’ll let you do the math.”
When asked if there was crossover in the relationships, Zoe told People, “I don’t know that I can answer that really. Listen, the timeline’s the timeline. And again, everything I answer is through a lens of what my children will see and hear. It is what it is.”
