Ladies of London: The New Reign kicked off with a two-episode premiere on Thursday, March 5, introducing viewers to the new crop of London women (and man) and American expats who will be starring in the rebooted version of the Bravo series.
One of those ladies is Lottie Kane, who is married to Joshua Kane, a “tailor to the stars” based in London. In Episode 2, Lottie addressed widespread speculation about her husband’s sexuality. Joshua has been described as “flamboyant,” but he is a straight man.
“I think it’s just the obvious thing for people to assume, oh, he’s a man who works in fashion, so he’s gay,” she said. “But, honestly, I find his flamboyance really attractive. We do our nails together, we do our makeup, it’s so fun. Honestly, it’s like a proper partnership. It’s not just like, ‘You’re the boy, you’re the girl.’ It’s like … we are one.”

Lottie also discussed the origins of her relationship with Joshua, which began in 2021. “Joshua and I met at The Box, which is an infamous nightclub in Soho,” she revealed. “This man walked in with his fedora and mustache, and I thought, ‘Oh my God, is it Johnny Depp!?’ It’s dark in there, you know, and he does have that kind of look. I think it was like two hours later, someone found us snogging downstairs at The Box. The rest is history.”
After just eight weeks of dating, Lottie and Josh got engaged. “We were married within a year,” she added, referencing their October 2022 wedding. Lottie was pregnant with the couple’s first child while they filmed Ladies of London. She gave birth to their son, Ezra, on October 24, 2025.
On the show, Joshua and Lottie did a photo shoot for their baby announcement, which they posted on Instagram in May 2025. “Introducing… ‘BABY KANE’ 🍼🐣 – Due to meet the world in late October 2025…” Joshua captioned the joint post. “We’re both over the moon to share the news with you all and we can’t wait to grow our little family. Time for some baby bespoke.”
