While five out of six couples got engaged during this season of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, the reunion was anything but a celebration. Now, we’re breaking down the most shocking moments from the cast’s explosive sit-down, including all the screaming matches, accusations, and even romantic moments.
Ahead of the reunion, viewers knew that this season’s drama did not end when the cameras stopped rolling. Specifically, that of the season’s “fearsome foursome.” During interviews with Swooon, Ashley Wilson, Hayley Hendrich, and Blake Robertson all revealed major unseen moments, from Hayley running into the guys from Killian Grondin‘s vulgar group chat to Blake’s dad encouraging Hayley to wear lingerie in front of Killian. It was then reported that Blake was arrested for allegedly assaulting Hayley, which he confirmed during the reunion, despite revealing that she signed an affidavit after the fact. This reunion covered some incredibly heavy topics surrounding Hayley and Blake, as well as other couples like Ashley and Killian, and Jessica Grace Booker and Edris Khalieque. Luke called out David
Sure, this isn’t the wildest moment from the reunion, but it definitely took us off-guard, as these were the two least dramatic guys from the season. Luke told the cast, “I will say I felt disrespected by a lot of people here.” He then called out David, who partnered with Monica during the first trial marriages, for threatening him and calling him “not man enough” for Monica. Luckily, they squashed the beef.
Hayley confirmed Blake’s arrest
Hayley and Blake split four months after getting engaged during the season finale. Hayley admitted, “I didn’t feel safe in any way, shape, or form in the relationship, and so I decided to walk away.”

The duo explained that their split came after Hayley caught Blake drunkenly buying two women drinks at a bar during their anniversary trip to Charleston. Thinking he was flirting, she poured a beer on him. Later, she found him driving his truck drunk, and she drove them home. She claimed, “You put your hands on me that night.” In response, he told the cast, “That never happened. I’m going back to my place… She just clocked me through the window.”
On a podcast, Hayley confirmed that Blake’s arrest happened during a different fight. After Hayley claimed that Blake had laid hands on her, he pulled out two signed affidavits from Hayley. Nick Lachey concluded, “We have totally different versions of the same story. When you’re in a toxic relationship, things go sideways.”
Ashley and Killian broke down their messy split
Turns out, Hayley and Blake weren’t the only ones with a tumultuous breakup. Ashley told the cast, “I was like, ‘I can’t do this anymore.’ My parents had to come down because he was throwing my phone, breaking it. I hid in a closet… And you put your hands on me.” Killian claimed that he was the one who texted Ashley’s parents “because I had to call the police to find [Ashley].” While Ashley blamed a lot of their issues on Killian drinking, he told her that she “triggered” him by not being there for him.

Jebin admitted to having a second (and worse) note
Everyone’s favorite note-passing 23-year-old Jebin John, who got himself and Alex Johnsen kicked off the show for trying to communicate off-camera, willingly shared that he had a second, far meaner note for Alex that he didn’t give her. According to the duo, they stayed together after the show. We’re not shocked to say that now they have split.
Jebin told the cast, “Me getting kicked off, I think that was the right thing to happen. There was actually a second note that I wrote. And honestly, that note was worse.” Now, he doesn’t want to get married until he’s 35.
Edris owned up to flirting with Alex
The biggest shocker of the reunion may have been the connection between Alex and Edris, who proposed to Jessica Grace ahead of the trial marriages, which was primarily not shown on camera. Obviously, Jessica Grace and Edris are no longer together today. Edris admitted that he was “so f**king angry” after Alex and Jebin left the experiment because he was going to pick Alex. In his opinion, this “forced” him to propose.
Later, Alex revealed that Edris “hit on” her over text while he was trying to work things out with Jessica Grace, even though he knew Alex and Jessica Grace were friends. Apparently, he asked Alex to try their own trial marriage off camera. She told him, “Here’s the thing. If you’re single, stay single. Don’t come travel with me. Don’t do that… Don’t sit here and piss on me, and tell me it’s not raining.”

Jessica Grace called out Edris for “humiliation rituals”
Of course, Jessica Grace didn’t stop there. While she didn’t provide full context for her and Edris’ post-broken-engagement relationship, she told him, “Don’t put me through literal hell, have me performing humiliation rituals. Have me being obedient to you, f**king punishing me.”
When asked by Vanessa Lachey to explain her comments, Jessica Grace declined. She shared, “He knows what it is, and it’s f**king disgusting.” Somehow, they left it at that. After that, Edris started talking about them having breakup sex, and Jessica Grace told him, “Watch your mouth.”
David and Casey got married on stage
Don’t worry, there was still some light at the end of The Ultimatum Season 4. David and Casey, who revealed that they are having a destination wedding in Italy this September, asked Nick to legally marry them on stage, ahead of their international ceremony. Shockingly, this duo was the first Ultimatum or Love Is Blind couple to get married at a reunion!
