Hayley is an El Paso, Texas, native featured on Season 4 of Netflix’s The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On. Heading into the season, Netflix describes her as “passionate and unapologetically emotional.” Looking back at relationships she has admired in the past, Hayley explained, “There was a sense of partnership and mutual respect that always stuck with me.”

Hayley and Blake met when she “briefly nannied for his stepbrothers.” The streamer revealed, “Blake caught Hayley’s attention… Well, more accurately, she caught his. It took a month of persistence before she finally agreed to a date.” Two years later, he’s ready to propose.
During an interview with Swooon, Hayley further revealed, “I was a nanny for five kids all throughout college, and I also, after work, like nanning during the day, I would go, and I was a bartender and a server at this Italian restaurant, and his dad and his stepmom would always come in. They were looking for a nanny for like 10 days… So then they had me come over and meet the kids, and during that time, I met Blake, and I could totally tell he was like flirting with me, but I was like, ‘This has to be professional.'”
Their love story started a few months later. She explained, “I ended up running into him at one of [his parents’] events because they own a business, and the restaurant that I worked at, we catered in, and so I ran into him, and that day, he like told me like 100 reasons why he wanted to take me on a date, and I was like, ‘Okay, if you’re that desperate, fine. We can go.’ And so we ended up going, and after that day, we were inseparable.”
Why isn’t Hayley ready to marry Blake?
Hayley told Swooon, “I was hesitant just because I was so young. I was 23 at the time, and for me, I was like, ‘Okay, I just graduated college. Like, I have no business getting married right now. You and I have been together for a year and a half.'”
She added, “Blake was very — not that he wasn’t emotional. Like, I feel like the show keeps saying like he’s just not an emotional person. I think it’s more of the space for emotions. You know? He [didn’t know] how to hold space for me.”
