Rumors that Summer House costars Amanda Batula and West Wilson are “hooking up” have taken the Bravo world by storm. Amid Batula’s separation from husband Kyle Cooke, fans are speculating that there may be something going on between her and Wilson.
The rumors were intensified by a March 5 DeuxMoi report, which claimed, “Sources say it’s casual…and if you follow Sunday Spotted you might have noticed West is seen with a different woman weekly in NYC. Still, at a recent event, they were openly flirty, allegedly even holding hands under the table, with Kyle, Amanda’s ex-husband, right there.”
Swooon caught up with Batula and Wilson’s Summer House costar KJ Dillard, and he laughed when we mentioned the rumors. “They’re friends!” he insisted, noting that he hadn’t seen the dating rumors. “It’s so wild to me. People can’t just post photos together? People will run with anything.”
He compared the situation to when he and Ciara Miller were spotted getting coffee over the summer, and Summer House fans were referring to him as Miller’s “new man.” He added, “This is ridiculous!”
Season 10 of Summer House was filmed during summer 2025, just months before Batula and Cooke announced that their separation in January. The estranged couple started officially dating at the end of Summer House Season 1, which aired in 2017, and tied the knot in 2021.
In a recent interview with Marie Claire, Batula said she was single. “I am manifesting a boyfriend, but just a boyfriend,” she told the mag. “No one who’s looking for anything serious. I want to have fun with someone my age or younger, since I’ve always dated older. For now, while I heal, I just want to flirt and make out. To be taken on dates, and just enjoy being hot and happy. I’ll find a husband later down the road—or maybe not.”
Wilson previously dated Miller after they met on Season 8 of Summer House in 2023. However, they split by the end of that year when Wilson wasn’t ready to commit to the relationship.
