Nicole Kidman’s Kids: A Guide to Her Family With Exes Keith Urban & Tom Cruise
Nicole Kidman is returning to the small screen in Prime Video’s new series Scarpetta, her first major role since filing for divorce from Keith Urban in September 2025. The former couple, who share two minor children, agreed to waive all child and spousal support rights in their January 2026 divorce settlement.
Before Kidman started a family with Urban, whom she married in 2006, she also welcomed two children with ex-husband Tom Cruise. The now-adult kids came to the stars’ family via adoption after Kidman dealt with fertility issues.

Who are Nicole Kidman’s kids with Tom Cruise?
Kidman and Cruise got married on Christmas Eve 1990. Their eldest daughter, Isabella Cruise, was born in December 1992, and they adopted her shortly after that. The exes’ son, Connor Cruise, was adopted shortly after his January 1995 birth.
Kidman told Vanity Fair in 2007 that she “wanted to have babies” as soon as she married Cruise. “We lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic,” she shared. “And that’s when we would adopt Bella.” She later revealed that she had an ectopic pregnancy in 1990, as well as a miscarriage toward the end of her and Cruise’s relationship in 2001.
After Kidman and Cruise divorced, Connor and Isabella continued practicing Scientology and have mostly lived their lives out of the spotlight.
Isabella, who goes by Isabella Kidman Cruise, started her own fashion line in 2018 and now sells her artwork online. “Her go-to medium was pen and paper for most of her life,” Bella’s bio reveals. “However, she is now venturing into other formats and mediums. Including digital. Which has been a bit of a game changer in her opinion.” Bella married her now-husband Max Parker in 2015.
Meanwhile, Connor has acting credits in the films Seven Pounds and Red Dawn and previously pursued a music career. He now lives in Florida and is passionate about deep-sea fishing, which he often posts about on social media.

Kidman and Urban tied the knot in June 2006, just a year and a half after they first met. When she was 41, Kidman gave birth to the pair’s first daughter, Sunday Rose, in July 2008. In December 2010, their second daughter, Faith Margaret, was born via surrogate.

“We were in a place of desperately wanting another child. This opportunity arose for us, and I couldn’t get pregnant,” Kidman said on 60 Minutes. “No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier.”
While Urban and Kidman kept their daughters out of the public eye for most of their lives, the girls have been making more public appearances in their teen years. Sunday made her runway debut at Paris Fashion Week in October 2024 and has continued her modeling career in the time since. Faith has begun to accompany her famous mother at public events. Both girls starred as extras on Big Little Lies and voiced characters in Angry Birds 2.

When Kidman and Cruise didn’t attend Isabella’s wedding in 2015, questions arose about the stars’ relationship with their older children. In May 2024, Cruise made a rare public appearance with Bella and Connor at an NHL game.
Kidman is notoriously private about her relationships with Connor and Isabella. “I’m very private about all that,” she told Who magazine in 2018. “I have to protect all those relationships. I know 150% that I would give up my life for my children because it’s what my purpose is.”
She also pointed out that her son and daughter “make their own decisions” as adults, adding, “They have made choices to be Scientologists and, as a mother, it’s my job to love them.” Kidman insisted that her love is “available” whenever her children need it.
“I think that’s so important because if that is taken away from a child, to sever that in any child, in any relationship, in any family, I believe it’s wrong,” she concluded. “So that’s our job as a parent, to always offer unconditional love.”
Meanwhile, Bella told New Idea in 2018, “Of course we talk, they’re my parents.”
