‘The Other Two’: Josh Segarra Weighs In on What Brooke & Lance Would Be Up To Today
What To Know
- Josh Segarra reflects on the finale of The Other Two and what the future holds for his character, Lance, and Brooke.
- He reveals whether he thinks the two are still together and what he believes they’re up to now.
- Segarra also credits the show’s creators for coming up with “genius” inventions that have come to fruition in real life.
It’s been three years since The Other Two ended after a three-season run. The finale wrapped things up nicely for the show’s No. 1 couple, Brooke (Heléne Yorke) and Lance (Josh Segarra). They reunited after their latest breakup and moved in together, even getting engaged (for a second time) by the time the post-credits rolled.
Swooon caught up with Segarra, who calls Yorke “truly one of my best friends,” to find out what he thinks the future holds for Brooke and Lance. Did their happy ending last?
“I’m so happy they ended up with an engagement ring,” Segarra says. “What are they up to nowadays? I’m sure they’ve got a couple of kids, a couple little babies running around.”

Referencing Lance’s passion for designing footwear, Segarra adds, “They’re probably really stylish little kids, wearing sneakers that you can draw on with Sharpie, wearing sneakers with a coin shelf in there, so you can look like a million bucks and sound like a dollar, edible shoes.”
He also points out that many of the fashion ideas Lance had, as ridiculous as they seemed, have “come to fruition” in real life. Segarra credits the show’s “genius” creators Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider with “being so smart” with those creations.
“The see-through clothes, the paneling? That was on a runway,” Segarra says. “There’s a Nike shoe that has a pocket in it. A picture I saw had Cheez-Its in the pocket, which is genius. There’s another thing they came up with on the show that ended up in real life…”
Segarra confirms that Lance and Brooke are “just made for each other” and says he “hopes that they’re happy” today. “I know that they’re happy,” he adds. “Because me and Heléne are very happy, so I’m sure the two characters are also very happy.”
