On March 19, a post went viral online that claimed 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way alum Debbie Aguero had died. Now, her son, Julian B Lin, is setting the record straight, squashing the unconfirmed rumor.
Debbie and her son, Julian, were featured on Season 4 of The Other Way. During the season, Debbie moved to Morocco to marry her then-boyfriend, Oussama Berber. At the time, Julian told viewers, “My mom, she’s like the crazy glue of the family. I know if I have issues or need to blow off steam, I can just go to Mom’s house.”
While Debbie and Oussama broke up before the end of the season, Debbie went on to star on Season 4 of 90 Day: The Single Life, and has appeared on Seasons 22, 23, 27, and 33 of Pillow Talk with Julian.
During Season 4, which premiered in 2023, Debbie was 67 years old. Three years later, fans have taken to 90 Day Fiancé Facebook groups, claiming that Julian is now mourning his late mother. Responding to the rumor, Julian confirmed that his mother is “alive and well.”
On March 20, Julian posted on his Instagram Story, “Mom has not kicked the bucket, she’s alive and well, who comes out with this stuff?” The statement was placed over a post on the Facebook group “90 Day Fiancé News.” On the graphic, the post reads, “In loving memory of Debbie Aguero. Rest in Peace, Miss Debbie.”

At this time, Debbie has not spoken out about the rumor. However, she has posted as recently as four days ago, collaborating on an Instagram reel by TLC India. In the video, titled “Debbie versus Debbie,” Debbie Aguero argues with Colt Johnson‘s mother, Debbie Johnson. In the comments, one fan wrote, “Miss Debbie [Aguero] is the best. She is so kind and has nothing but love to share.”
