In July 2025, Prime Video revealed the cast of their newest TV adaptation, Every Year After. Of course, fans were clamoring to get their first look at the Florek boys, Sam and Charlie. However, we were arguably even more excited to find out who would play horror movie-loving, friendship bracelet-weaving Persephone “Percy” Fraser. Meet summer’s newest starlet, Sadie Soverall!

Who plays Percy in Every Year After?
Prime Video has confirmed that Soverall will be stepping into the role of Percy Fraser, alongside Matt Cornett as her summertime bestie, Sam, and Michael Bradway as his older brother, Charlie. Season 1 of the series is set to follow Every Summer After, a romance spanning many years between childhood friends Percy and Sam. At the start of the novel, Percy and Sam have not been in contact for quite some time. That is, until a call from Charlie changes everything.
While the novel takes place over six summers in the past and one weekend in the present, the adaptation’s title indicates a larger time frame. “The thinking behind that was that Every Summer After was like too confining as a season for a series, and Every Year After allowed them to open this up to a broader story,” Fortune told Swooon.

Who is Sadie Soverall?
Soverall is a 24-year-old British actress of both the stage and screen. Before she hits Barry’s Bay on our screens, Soverall is starring in John Proctor Is the Villain at the Royal Court Theatre in London. According to Soverall, she was actually spotted by a talent agent on stage during a school production of Twelfth Night, in which she played Viola.
What has Sadie Soverall been in before Every Year After?
Viewers may recognize Soverall from her time on Fate: The Winx Saga as Beatrix. In fact, Every Year After is a mini Fate: The Winx Saga reunion for Soverall, as Abigail Cowen, who plays her friend Delilah in the upcoming adaptation, played her sister, Bloom, in Winx! Soverall is also known for playing Oxford student Annabel in Saltburn.
