Jude Law‘s family has become quite a hot topic on social media lately. The actor’s 11-year-old daughter, Ada, was recently involved in a controversy surrounding pop singer Chappell Roan. Roan’s security guard allegedly spoke aggressively to Ada and her mom — Law’s ex-wife, Catherine Harding — after Ada walked by her table in a hotel restaurant.

Who is Jude Law’s wife?
Law and British psychologist Phillipa Coan were first connected in 2015, having reportedly been introduced by mutual friends. Coan is the owner of Stride, a company that consults businesses on how to “save organizations energy, carbon, and money through employee engagement and behavior change.”
Their first child came along about a year after their wedding, and another followed in 2023. They’ve kept their children’s names private, keeping in line with how few details they’ve shared about their relationship over the years. “She’s mine and no one else’s. I’m very, very happy,” Law told Modern Luxury in 2017. “A large part of that is the fact that she’s a very private person. And our relationship is a very private thing, and I think part of the fact it works so well is exactly because of that.”

Still, the actor has shared some insights into their marriage, during which they’ve also appeared at a few public events together. “So we enjoy a very healthy relationship where we talk a lot about how we feel, our relationships with friends, relationships with our families, and she has a wonderful perspective on all of that,” Law told GQ in 2024. “I think one should, in middle age, start to reflect. Sadie Frost
Law married his first wife, actress and fashion designer Sadie Frost, in 1997. They met three years earlier, when Law was 19, and Frost was a 26-year-old mother of one, per The Hollywood Reporter. Before they split in 2003, they welcomed three children.
Frost wrote about their marriage in her 2010 autobiography, Crazy Days, which Law tried to remove mentions of their relationship from by legal means. “The more we had to socialize at grand dinner parties in Hollywood, the more I felt my self-esteem slipping away,” she said of the reason for her split from Law. “Soon I admitted defeat and went to see a doctor, who diagnosed post-natal depression and put me back on medication.”
After the Bram Stoker’s Dracula actress was admitted to a California psychiatric institution. “It was obvious to me and to the staff that this was not the best place for me,” she wrote. “Fortunately, a friend was allowed to take me to his home a week later. Soon [a friend] arrived from London to accompany me home. My marriage to Jude Law was over.”
In March 2025, Frost reflected that she experienced “very low self-esteem” after her divorce from Law. “I’m feeling really happy and content at the moment. I feel confident. Law and Sienna Miller started dating in 2003, while working on 2004’s Alfie.
