After separating from his wife during 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9, Gino Palazzolo revealed to Swooon that he is thrilled to enter his first solo 90 Day Fiancé spinoff “single and free.”
Fans first met Gino in 2021 on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 5, when he traveled to Panama to meet his now ex-wife, Jasmine Pineda, for the first time IRL. After six seasons in the franchise with Jasmine, Gino has stepped out on his own, amid their divorce, on Season 5 of 90 Day: The Single Life. From exploring a connection with his new flame, Natalie, to opening up about wanting kids, it’s safe to say that we are seeing a whole new side of Gino this time around!
“I didn’t really feel I could be myself [in] my past relationship, to be honest,” Gino told Swooon. That’s why he came into The Single Life looking for “a lot more.” He explained. “I’m looking for someone that treats me with kindness, that respects me, and someone that I can have fun with… I just want to be myself, be happy.”
Now, only six episodes into The Single Life, he’s made his relationship with Natalie official. Looking back at the start of their relationship, he shared that it was Natalie who made the first move by replying to him on social media. “Soon after that, it was like, ‘Hey, let’s meet up and see how things go.'” Of course, that’s when fans met Natalie on Happily Ever After.
According to Gino, it was Natalie’s personality that drew him in. “She’s very easy going, kind, [and] very caring. She’s a woman with a good heart, which is important to me, especially nowadays.” After their trip to Washington, D.C., as seen in Episode 5, Gino decided to stop chatting with other women online and officially become exclusive with Natalie, despite originally wanting to carry on those connections.
“I wasn’t sure at first what I wanted,” Gino confessed, “I was self-reflecting on myself, you know, ‘What is it that I really want and how can I be a better partner?’ But I decided after my time with her in Washington, D.C., that I wanted to invest more in the relationship.” For him, this meant proving to her friends, her family, and especially her daughter, Bella, that he was the right person for Natalie.
On the other hand, Gino wanted to make sure Natalie was right for him, too. That’s why he brought in the big guns: His uncle, Marco. “He’s my dad’s brother,” Gino explained, “and he’s always been a kind of like a father figure for me throughout my life, and so I very much respect him and his opinion.” Though he did admit that he assumed Marco would like Natalie because “she’s a very high-quality woman, and she’s just so easy to talk to and get along with, unlike my past relationship.”

Even so, Marco didn’t stop with simply a vibe check. He brought in a heavy hitter, asking Natalie if she wanted more kids. “Uncle Marco surprised me when he asked Natalie how she felt about kids, so that kind of threw me off,” Gino admitted. “I wasn’t expecting that, to talk about children meeting her for the first time.” That being said, Natalie shocked Gino by saying she was open to “different options” like surrogacy or adoption. As he expressed on the show, in his perfect world, kids of his own — with “tiny little baby hats” — would be in his future.
Now that Gino and Natalie have taken things to the next level in their relationship, Gino teased that agreeing to stop talking to other women “changed everything” in their relationship. Viewers will have to tune in to The Single Life to find out where they go from here!
