‘Love Overboard’: Which Couple Won the $100,000 Trip Around the World?

On Hulu’s new dating show Love Overboard, 16 of the hottest singles boarded a luxury yacht in hopes of finding love and winning the grand prize of a $100,000 trip around the world with their partner. The catch, though, was that only four couples were able to enjoy the lavish life on the topside of the yacht, while the others lived on the much less luxurious downside and had to perform chores on the ship.
The only way to get to the top deck of the boat was to break up one of the topside couples. Downsiders had the opportunity to do this by winning a challenge or by being bold during a cocktail party, which earned that person the right to ask one of the topsiders out on a date. After the date, the topsiders had to eliminate the downsider or bring them to the topside, thus eliminating their previous partner. Things were made even more complicated as new shipwreckers were brought on board throughout the season. (Warning: Spoilers for the Love Overboard finale below).
Things changed up in the penultimate episode. With eight pairs remaining, the contestants all had to vote for who they felt the most compatible couple was, and only the five with the most votes would remain on the ship. Those couples were: Tim and Gia, Lexi and James, Delaney and Keif, Christine and Jake, and David and Val. The three couples eliminated were: Reece and Sofia, Enna and Andrew, and Leela and Koray.

The five remaining couples got to enjoy a date night off the yacht, but the guys were also put in the hot seat when family members and friends of the girls stopped by to grill them. By the end of the day, Delaney began having doubts about whether things would work with Keif, as he wanted a more traditional lifestyle, while her modeling career often led her to travel and attend events and parties.
In the finale, Delaney and Keif self-eliminated, leaving just four couples remaining. Those four then had to vote out who they felt was least deserving to win. James/Lexi and Tim/Gia voted for David and Val, while David and Val voted for Tim and Gia. Christine and Jake were the newest couple in the group, and she had a close friendship with Val since they arrived at the same time as shipwreckers. To avoid voting for David/Val or finding out what happened if there was a tie, Christine and Jake decided to vote for themselves and end their time on the ship.
At the final plank ceremony, all of the former contestants were brought back to vote for the most deserving couple. Gia and Tim received the most votes and were declared the winners against James/Lexi and David/Val.
