‘Love Overboard’: Are Tim & Gia Still Together? What We Know About Their Status
All nine episodes of Love Overboard are officially streaming on Hulu, which means viewers can finally see what went down when a group of singles spent a few weeks on a yacht in Malta last year. The show was filled with twists and turns, but only one couple walked away with the grand prize: a trip around the world worth $100,000. (WARNING: Spoilers for Season 1 of Love Overboard below.)
Tim Demirjian and Gia Aldisert were the winning couple on Love Overboard. Ahead of the premiere, Gia revealed on TikTok that the series was filmed “about a year ago,” which means quite a bit of time has passed since they coupled up and won the grand prize.
So, where do they stand now? Scroll down for everything we know about Tim and Gia’s relationship today.
Are Tim and Gia still together?
Tim and Gia’s exact status at this time is unclear, as they haven’t given any post-show updates yet. It’s likely that they are waiting for viewers to catch up on the entire series before sharing where they stand now.
However, we should note that Tim and Gia do follow each other on Instagram, which is a promising sign that things may have worked out between them. Plus, as they noted on the show, they live very close to one another in Los Angeles, which gave them a leg up when it came to dating after the cameras stopped rolling.
What is Tim and Gia’s age difference?
Tim and Gia have a seven-year age difference. He was born in April 1995 and is about to turn 31, while she was born in May 2002 and will turn 24 in two months.
The age gap came up a few times on Love Overboard, but Tim and Gia seemed unbothered by it.
What happened to Tim and Gia on Love Overboard?
Tim and Gia’s relationship didn’t begin until Episode 3. Before that, she was interested in another contestant, Beau Bailey. They both began the show on the downside of the boat, but that all changed when Beau won the Episode 2 challenge.
He coupled up with Lexi Borges in the challenge, but she chose to go to the downside with James Barranca, which left the door open for Beau to bring whomever he wanted to the topside. He chose Gia.
At the next cocktail party, Tim pulled Gia aside to chat, and they started building a connection. As a reward for being bold at the party, he was able to ask one topside woman out on a date, and Gia agreed to go with him. While she wouldn’t kiss him on the date out of respect for Beau, it was clear that sparks were flying.
Gia then had to decide between Tim and Beau, and she ended up going with her heart instead of her head, forcing Beau to walk the plank and giving Tim a spot on the topside of the boat alongside her. They agreed right away that they were going to take things slow and not sleep together throughout the process.

Now coupled up, Tim and Gia kept their spot on the topside for the remainder of the show. The only hiccup in their relationship was during Episode 7 during a game of spin the bottle when Tim had to act out his favorite sexual position with another contestant, and Gia felt he took it too far.
They were able to work through that situation and were voted by their fellow contestants as one of the Top 5 remaining couples. During Episode 8, the five couples got to enjoy a date night off the yacht, and Tim and Gia told each other they were “starting to fall in love” with one another. He also met her twin brother, Louie, who was admittedly skeptical, but also urged his sister to “lean in” to what was happening.
The show ended with all of the castaways returning to vote for the strongest couple of the Top 3. Tim and Gia were up against Lexi and James, as well as David Fuhrmann and Val Zuluaga, and they won!
