Love on the Spectrum fans, the wait for Season 4 is almost over! But don’t worry, we have just the thing to tide you over until the premiere on April 1.

Two days ahead of the Season 4 premiere, Swooon is thrilled to introduce viewers to one of the franchise’s newbies, Emma Miller, a 22-year-old dater (and theater lover!) from Provo, Utah, whose faith as a member of the Latter-day Saints is at the heart of what she’s looking for in a relationship. She told Swooon, “I pretty much want to date someone that’s the same religion as me. You know, that way we’re kind of on the same page.”

In Swooon‘s exclusive preview, which you can watch above, Emma reveals, “I am very much looking forward to finding love because it’s a really amazing feeling.” When she sat down with Swooon, Emma further explained that she is looking for “someone that’s affectionate, and also someone that has a good sense of humor.” Of course, they may also need to share her love for musicals, with WickedBeauty and the Beast, and The Nightmare Before Christmas being her absolute favorites.

During her introduction, Emma also explained what it was like for her growing up on the autism spectrum. It’s clear that getting diagnosed was a major a-ha moment for Emma. As she put it, “When I finally came to the realization that I have autism, I was like, ‘Oh! That makes a lot of sense.'”

When asked about joining the Love on the Spectrum cast, Emma revealed she is a big fan of the show. She’s even met cast members Dani Bowman and Subodh Garg already! However, the main reason she decided to join the cast herself is two-fold. She told Swooon, “It had two of my main interests, film and dating. I’ve been interested in the film industry forever. And also to branch out with dating [and] get out there a little.”

“I’m LDS [Mormon],” Emma tells director Cian O’Clery during her intro. “I think it just really like represents some of who I am. Like, I’m high with my morals and stuff.” That being said, she’s not planning to go on a mission anytime soon, as living at her school, ScenicView Academy, is kind of like a mission.

When asked how her faith has impacted her dating life thus far, Emma admitted to Swooon, “I would say it probably makes my values a lot more trickier.”

Going into the new season, Emma wants viewers to know, “It’s always good to be authentic and true to yourself. It’s always more fun to be yourself, and just never be afraid of who you are, regardless of how others perceive it.” Ultimately, she’s excited for viewers to see “that every dating experience is a learning experience.”

Getting to know Emma was an absolute joy, and we cannot wait for viewers to get to know her this season of Love on the Spectrum!
