‘The Valley’: Are Brittany Cartwright & Brandon Hanson Still Together?
Brittany Cartwright is introducing viewers to a new man on Season 3 of The Valley. In August 2025, she went public with then-boyfriend Brandon Hanson, whom she was friends with for years before things turned romantic.
Although Brittany’s divorce from Jax Taylor still isn’t finalized following their 2024 split, she started dating again and has even attended public events with Brandon. But now that it’s been several months since their debut, where do they stand?

Are Brittany Cartwright and Brandon Hanson still together?
No, Brittany and Brandon are no longer together. She confirmed their split on an episode of her podcast in October 2025.
“We were very good friends before we started dating,” she explained. “It was kind of like a whirlwind relationship. It went into the public way sooner than we ever would have wanted it to.” Brittany explained that the split happened because Brandon lived several hours away and had “a lot of obligations” with his kids and work.
In an interview with Swooon, Brittany said the romance was “a fun little fling with someone who I’ve known for a very long time.” She added, “It was just right for the moment, but I don’t think I ever thought this would be my new husband or anything like that. It was just a lot of fun.”
As for where they stand now, Brittany confirmed she has “no ill will” towards Brandon and said they’re “still friends,” noting, “That was never going to work out [romantically].”
How did Brittany Cartwright and Brandon Hanson meet?
Brittany and Brandon met years ago while she was working at Hooters in Kentucky. “We became friends, it was a little romantic, and then I started dating my boyfriend, so I hadn’t talked to him for a while,” she revealed to Swooon. “I dated that ex for, like, three years, then I met Jax and moved to L.A., was with him for 10 years, so I hadn’t seen or talked to Brandon in 13, 14 years. It had been a long time.”
During those years, Brittany and Brandon “caught up, friendly, over social media and stuff,” but they really reconnected while they were both going through divorces. “He started DMing me and stuff, like, ‘I’m coming to L.A. soon,’ and it just sort of happened like that,” Brittany shared. “It was just friends at first.”

Yes, like Brittany, Brandon was previously married to Jasina Stanko, who documented their relationship on social media when they were together. Brandon also has three children from previous relationships. He seemingly shared two of his children with Jasina, who often posts about them on social media.

No, Brittany is currently single. “I am still single, but having fun,” she told Swooon. “I am open for whatever, but I’m working on myself and I just feel really good. I’m having a great time. I got a lot of my confidence back. I’m just living it up.”
