‘Summer House’: Are Amanda Batula & West Wilson Still Together Amid Love Triangle Drama?
After weeks of speculation, Summer House stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirmed their romance with a joint Instagram Story statement on March 31. Despite West’s previous relationship with one of Amanda’s best friends, Ciara Miller, the two confirmed that they formed a “connection” that developed out of their “genuine, long-standing friendship.”
The internet exploded as the news spread, but Amanda and West have kept tight-lipped since releasing their initial confirmation statement. This, of course, has led to more questions about where things currently stand between all the players involved, how long this has all been going on, and more.

Based on their March 31 statement, Amanda and West appear to still be an item. They noted that their relationship is “still very new” and referenced themselves as “we” in the message.
“Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it,” they wrote, confirming that something “developed recently” between them after years of “[showing] up for each other as friends.”
Amanda and West confirmed that their feelings for each other have “evolved” and hinted that they are continuing to pursue the relationship. They concluded, “We wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
When did Amanda Batula and West Wilson start dating?
The exact timeline of when things turned romantic between Amanda and West is unclear. Speculation that something was happening between them first surfaced on the last weekend of February when they documented a day out together (with friends) on Instagram. However, the relationship seemingly dates back to a few weeks prior to that.
After Amanda and West confirmed that they were an item, Dave Portnoy revealed on X that he had already known about the romance for weeks. “Yawn. Chickenfry told me this at the SuperBowl. Old news,” he wrote (Chickenfry is a nickname for Brianna LaPaglia, who runs in the same circle as Wilson).
The Super Bowl took place on February 8, 2026, in California. Interestingly, West attended the game with Ciara and other friends, but two days later, a fan spotted him at a bar in Miami with Amanda.
