‘Laguna Beach’ Star Reveals a Secret Ryan Seacrest Hookup

Laguna Beach shot a group of early 2000s teenagers to superstardom, which meant they got to run in some pretty high-profile circles after graduating high school. Kyndra Mayo, who starred on the show’s third season, dished on those times during an episode of her Camp Chaos podcast with Season 2 Laguna Beach star Alex Murrel.
While discussing their celebrity run-ins, Kyndra told quite a story involving her older sister, Courtney Mayo, and Ryan Seacrest.
The anecdote stemmed from Alex revealing, “Alex Hooser lived with me [in Los Angeles]. We lived with Angel Carter, who’s Aaron Carter‘s twin sister,” Alex explained. “Aaron came down for Courtney’s birthday, and I think they might have made out? Or hooked up or something.”
That’s when Kyndra jumped in to add, “Do you understand the people I’ve put Courtney in a room with? Ryan Seacrest, [she] made out with.” She said the alleged hookup happened at Area Nightclub after Kyndra did an interview with Ryan on KIIS-FM.

While Kyndra didn’t give an exact timeline of when this all allegedly went down, her season of Laguna Beach aired in the fall of 2006. Ryan was single around this time, having dated Shana Wall from 2003 to 2005 and then Julianne Hough from 2010 to 2013.
Ryan is not believed to currently be in a relationship. His most recent romance was with Aubrey Paige, whom he dated from 2021 to 2014. Before that, he dated Shayna Taylor from 2013 to 2020.
While Courtney is private on Instagram, Kyndra often posts with her older sister on her own social media page. Courtney graduated from Laguna Beach High School in 2007, while Kyndra graduated in 2005.
Meanwhile, Alex, who once dated The Hills star Frankie Delgado, has shared her own celebrity stories in the past. While appearing on Kristin Cavallari‘s live podcast tour in 2025, she revealed that she hooked up with Nick Carter. She also was “making out with Pauly Shore” at a club one time, which she described as “so bad.”
