Who are Abbey Romeo’s parents?
Abbey Romeo’s parents are Christine Romeo and Eric Lutes, who are both actors. According to IMDb, they met when they were cast to play husband and wife in a bank commercial. The two got married in 1990 and welcomed Abbey eight years later, in May 1998. Their second child, Ben, arrived over a year and a half later. Today, Abbey is 27, and Ben is 25.
Who is Eric Lutes?
Abbey’s dad, Eric Lutes, is best known for his roles in TV shows from the 1990s to the 2010s. His credits include: Tom Duran in Frasier, Del Cassidy in Caroline in the City, and Jack Carlson in So Little Time. He recently made his return to acting in 2026 with the film Sleepwalker, where he played Doctor Henson.
Today, Abbey’s dad has devoted his time to his “first passion,” painting. On his website, he revealed that his dad (and Abbey’s grandpa), marine artist John D. Lutes, who served as the official portrait artist for the U.S. Navy, is his biggest influence.

Who is Christine Romeo?
Abbey’s mom, Christine Romeo, is also an actress. She is best known for guest-starring in episodes of Ellen, The O.C., and Star Trek: Enterprise. Until recently, she also worked as the Director of Communications at the Farrah Fawcett Foundation. Christine has appeared on every season of Love on the Spectrum, alongside Abbey.
