A year and a half into their relationship, Sydney McGregor, a 24-year-old aesthetician, brought her boyfriend, 24-year-old event host Mikey Bivens, to Temptation Island. She wanted Mikey to show that he could handle emotionally mature conversations and prove that his “player” days were behind him. However, shortly after they were separated into different tempter-filled villas, Mikey expressed interest in one of the singles, though he didn’t cross any physical lines. Sydney called time on their relationship then and there.
After that, Sydney put her focus on exploring a connection with tempter Xzavier Odom, a 26-year-old product manager. They got to know each other and remained close over the course of the season, and in the end, Mikey decided to go home alone when he reunited with Sydney at the final bonfire. Sydney’s first order of business at the final bonfire was ending her relationship with Mikey. After he’d left, she brought out Xzavier to talk. Sydney revealed that they’d already had some talks about the future after the show. Xzavier accepted her offer to leave together instantly and brought her into a hug.
“Honestly, it’s just so nice to have somebody who sees me for who I am and is always there to give me a different perspective and tell me what they see in me and what I deserve and show up like that every single day,” Sydney said.
Then, she told Xavier that she’d fallen in love with him. “I’ve been loving you for some time, Sydney,” Xzavier reciprocated. “You make it really easy. I want you in my life. I know I’m going to have you in it, and I look forward in continuing to grow with you.”

As per usual, we have to wait until Netflix gives the official Temptation Island Season 2 where-are-they-now update. There’s no word on when we’ll be able to find out what Sydney and Xzavier got up to after filming and if they’re still seeing each other today.
They can’t reveal any updates until Netflix does, either, but Sydney and Xzavier do still follow each other on Instagram. It’s an optimistic sign, since Sydney and Mikey unfollowed each other after becoming exes. So, Sydney and Xzavier’s relationship status is TBD!
